28.8 Non calcaverunt her children institorum. Institores are who spirituale negotium gerunt, etc., usque to institorum filios, pastores and doctores. Nec pertransivit per her leæna. The expression son of describes a person or animal that possesses a certain quality. The word pride indicates that the animals Job is describing are confident in their strength and fierceness and are not afraid of other animals. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could use an equivalent idiom from your language or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: “Even wild beasts that have no fear of going anywhere have not walked it”

The pronoun it refers to the “path” that Job described in the previous verse, that is, the route that miners take into the earth. It may be helpful to clarify this for your readers. Alternate translation: “have not walked on that path”
