OET 2TH chapter 3

3 The other thing, brothers and sisters, is to keep praying for us so that the master’s message will keep spreading and being honoured just like it was among you all 2 and so that we might escape from the schemes of perverse and evil people, because not everyone believes this message. 3 But the master is faithful and will strengthen you all and will keep you from the evil one. 4 We are confident that with the master’s help, you are following all of our instructions and will continue to do so.

5 May the master direct your thoughts towards God’s love and Messiah’s endurance.

3 For/Because _the rest, be _praying, brothers, because/for us, in _order _that the message of _the master may _be _spreading and may _be _being _glorified, as also with you _all, 2 and in _order _that we _may _be _rescued from the perverse and evil people, because/for not is of _all are the faith.
3 But faithful is the master, who will _be _strengthening you _all, and will _be _keeping you _all from the evil one.
4 And we _have _persuaded in the_master to you _all that the things we _are _commanding, and you _all _are _doing and will _be _doing.
5 And the master might _direct of _you _all the hearts into the love of_ the _god, and into the endurance of _the chosen _one /messiah.

3:6 The warning against laziness

6 Brothers and sisters, we are instructing you all to avoid those who are only lazily living out their faith and not according to the practices that they were taught by us. 7 You yourselves know that it’s appropriate to be imitating us, because we didn’t loaf when we were among you all, 8 nor did we each food from anyone that we didn’t deserve, but we worked even when it was hard—day and night so that we wouldn’t be a burden on anybody, 9 not that we didn’t have the right but in order to make ourselves a good example that you all could emulate. 10 Even when we were there with you all, we had instructed you that anyone who’s not willing to work doesn’t deserve to eat.

11 Yes, we have heard that there are some who associate with you all, but they’re lazy—not doing any work but just meddling, 12 so we’re instructing those people and urging them by the authority of the master Yeshua Messiah, to just quietly get down to work and then they’ll have food to eat. 13 But the rest of you, brothers and sisters, doing get discouraged from doing good.

14 And if there’s anyone there who won’t submit to the contents of this letter, then take note of that person and don’t associate with them, in order that they might be persuaded. 15 Don’t consider them as an enemy, but reprimand them like you would to a brother or sister.

6 And we _are _commanding to _you _all, brothers, in the_name of _the master of _us, Yaʸsous chosen _one /messiah, to _be _avoiding you _all from every brother lazily walking, and not according _to the tradition which they _received from us.
7 For/Because yourselves you _all _have _known how it _is _fitting to _be _imitating us, because not we _loafed among you _all, 8 nor undeservedly bread we _ate from anyone, but in labour and hardship, night and day working, in _order that not to _burden anyone of _you _all.
9 Not that not we _are _having the_right, but in _order _that ourselves an_example we _may _give to _you _all, in _order that to _be _imitating us.
10 For/Because even when we _were with you _all, this we _were _commanding to _you _all, that if anyone not is _willing to _be _working, not him _let _be _eating.
11 For/Because we _are _hearing some are walking among you _all lazily, nothing working, but meddling.
12 And the to _such we _are _commanding and are _exhorting by the_master Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) chosen _one /messiah, that with quietness working the of _themselves bread they _may _be _eating.
13 But you _all, brothers, not may _lose _heart doing _good.
14 And if anyone not is _submitting to _the message of _us through the letter, this man be _taking _note, not to _be _associating _with with _him, in _order _that he _may _be _swayed.
15 And _yet not as an_enemy be _considering him, but be _admonishing him as a_brother.

3:16 Farewell

16 May the master of peace himself give you all peace through everyone and in every way. May the master be with all of you.

17 This farewell is in my own handwriting, I’m Paul, and I do this with every letter I write.

18 May the grace from our master Yeshua Messiah be with all of you.

16 And himself the master of_ the _peace, might _give to _you _all the peace through everyone in every manner.
