3:18 The following scribal note is included in the colophons of many Greek manuscripts: Πρὸς Θεσσαλονικεῖς δευτέρα ἐγράφη ἀπὸ Ἀθηνῶν.

Key for above GNTs: yellow:punctuation differs, red:words differ (from our SR-GNT base).

TSNTyndale Study Notes:

3:18 Ancient letters frequently ended with a wish for health or prosperity, but Paul’s blessing is much grander: He calls on the Lord Jesus Christ to grant grace to the recipients (see 1 Thes 5:28).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: translate-blessing

ἡ χάρις τοῦ Κυρίου ἡμῶν, Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ, μετὰ πάντων ὑμῶν

the grace ˱of˲_the Lord ˱of˲_us Jesus Christ with all ˱of˲_you_all

Paul ends the letter with one more blessing. Use a form that people would recognize as a blessing in your language. Alternate translation: “I pray that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ will be with you all”
