TSNTyndale Study Notes:

13:15-17 Elisha laid his own hands on the king’s hands: This act conveyed spiritual empowerment for the upcoming battle with the Arameans at Aphek.
• Aphek was situated east of the Sea of Galilee (1 Kgs 20:26), thus the eastern window faced the place where the battle would take place.
