OEB {This verse will need special attention.} When they were at the great stone which is in Gibeon, Amasa came to meet them. And Joab was girt with a sword under his warrior’s cloak, and also over it was a girdle with a sword fastened upon his loins in its sheath; and as he went forth it fell out.

Therfor Joab seide to Amasa,

Therefore Yoab said to Amasa,)
