OET (OET-RV) and it’s the same with all of you. Because you all want spiritual things in order to help grow the assembly, then strive to have many of them.![]()
OET-LV Thus also you_all, because zealous you_all_are of_spirits, because/for the building of_the assembly, be_seeking that you_all_may_be_being_plentiful.![]()
ULT So also you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts for the building up of the church, seek that you would abound in them.
UST So, here is what you must do: because you desire that the Holy Spirit specially empowers you, you should strive more and more to use what the Holy Spirit empowers you to do to help the group of believers become stronger.
BSB & MSB It is the same with you. Since you are eager to have spiritual gifts, strive to excel [in gifts that] build up the church.
BLB So also you, since you are zealous of spiritual gifts, search for the edification of the church, that you should cause it to abound.
AICNT In this way also you, since you are zealous for spirits,[fn] seek for the building up of the church so that you may abound.
OEB And so with you; since you are striving for spiritual gifts, be eager to excel in such as will build up the faith of the church.
WEBBE & WMBB So also you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, seek that you may abound to the building up of the assembly.
NET It is the same with you. Since you are eager for manifestations of the Spirit, seek to abound in order to strengthen the church.
LSV so you also, since you are earnestly desirous of spiritual gifts, seek for the building up of the Assembly that you may abound;
FBV It's the same for you—if you are keen to have spiritual gifts, try to have many of those that will build up the church.

T4T So I say this to you: Because you are eager to have the abilities that God’s Spirit gives, earnestly desire those abilities that will do the most to help all the believers in the congregation.
