19 And_ ˊAsāh^ʼēl _he _pursued after ʼAⱱnēr and_not he _turned _aside to_go to the_right and_to the_left from_after ʼAⱱnēr.

20 And_ ʼAⱱnēr _he _turned behind_him and_he/it _said you is_this Oh _ˊAsāh^ʼēl and_he/it _said I.

21 And_he/it _said to_him/it ʼAⱱnēr turn _aside to/for_yourself(m) to right _of_your or to left _of_your and_seize to/for_yourself(m) one of_the _young_men and_take to/for_yourself(m) DOM spoil _of_his and_not ˊAsāh^ʼēl he _was _willing to_turn _aside from_after_him.

22 And_he _repeated again ʼAⱱnēr to_say to ˊAsāh^ʼēl turn _aside to/for_yourself(m) from_after_me to/for_what will_I _strike _you towards_land and_how will _I _lift _up face _of_my to Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) your(ms)_brother/kindred.

23 And_he _refused to_turn _aside and_he_struck _him ʼAⱱnēr with_the _back _end(s)_of the _spear into the_belly and_it _went _out the_spear from_behind_him and_he _fell there and_he/it _died in_his _place[fn] and_he/it _was every _of (the)_one_who_came to the_place where he _fell there ˊAsāh^ʼēl and_he/it _died and_they _stood _still.

24 And_ Yōʼāⱱ _they _pursued and_ʼAⱱīshay after ʼAⱱnēr and_the_sun it _set and_they they _came to the _hill _of ʼAmmāh which is_on the _face _of Giyaaḩ the _way _of the _wilderness _of Giⱱˊōn.

25 And_ the _descendants _of _they _gathered _together of _Binyāmīn behind ʼAⱱnēr and_they _were (into)_a_band one and_they _stood on the_top _of a _hill one.

31 And_the _servants _of Dāvid they _had _struck _down of_Binyāmīn and_among_the _men _of ʼAⱱnēr three hundred(s) and_sixty man they _had _died.

32 And_people _lifted _up DOM ˊAsāh^ʼēl and_they_buried _him in_the _tomb _of his/its_father which was_Bēyt- leḩem and_ all _of _they _went the_night Yōʼāⱱ and_men _of_his and_it _became _light to/for_them at_Ḩeⱱrōn.
