6 and _ he/it _ was when _ was (the) _ war between the _ house_ of Shāʼūl and _ between the _ house_ of Dāvid and _ ʼAⱱnēr he _ was strengthening _ himself in _ house _ of Shāʼūl .
7 And _ belonged _ to _ Shāʼūl a _ concubine and _ her _ of_ name was _ Riʦfāh the _ daughter_ of ʼAyyāh and _ he/it _ said to ʼAⱱnēr why have _ you_ gone into the _ concubine_ of my _ father_ of_ of .

17 And _ the _ message_ of ʼAⱱnēr it _ was with the _ elders_ of Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) to _ say both yesterday as _ well_ as the _ third_ day you(pl) _ were seeking DOM Dāvid to _ king over _ you(pl) .
18 And _ now act if/because YHWH he _ has_ spoken to Dāvid to _ say by _ the _ hand_ of Dāvid servant _ of_ my to _ deliver DOM people _ of_ my Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) from _ the _ hand_ of the _ Fə lishtiy and _ from _ the _ hand_ of all _ of enemies _ of_ their .
19 And _ he/it _ spoke also ʼAⱱnēr in _ the _ ears_ of Binyāmīn and _ he/it _ went also ʼAⱱnēr to _ speak in _ the _ ears_ of Dāvid at _ Ḩeⱱrōn DOM all _ of that was _ good in/on _ both _ eyes_ of Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ in _ the _ eyes_ of all _ of the _ house_ of Binyāmīn .

23 And _ Yōʼāⱱ and _ all the _ army which with _ him/it they _ came and _ people _ told to _ Yōʼāⱱ to _ say he _ came ʼAⱱnēr the _ son_ of Nēr to the _ king and _ he/it _ sent_ out/away_ him/it and _ he/it _ went in _ peace .
24 And _ Yōʼāⱱ _ he _ went to the _ king and _ he/it _ said what have _ you_ done here he _ came ʼAⱱnēr to _ you to/for _ what this did _ you _ send_ him_ away and _ he/it _ went completely _ (go) .
25 You _ know DOM ʼAⱱnēr the _ son_ of Nēr if/because _ that to _ deceive _ you he _ came and _ to _ know DOM out _ of_ your _ going and _ DOM in _ of_ your _ comings[fn ] and _ to _ know DOM all _ of that you are _ doing .
26 And _ Yōʼāⱱ _ he/it _ went_ out from _ with Dāvid and _ he _ sent messengers after ʼAⱱnēr and _ they _ brought_ back DOM _ him/it from Sirah and _ Dāvid not he _ knew .
27 And _ ʼAⱱnēr _ he _ returned Ḩeⱱrōn and _ he _ turned _ him_ aside Yōʼāⱱ into the _ middle_ of the _ gate to _ speak with _ him/it in _ quietness and _ he _ struck _ him there the _ belly and _ he/it _ died for _ the _ blood_ of ˊAsāh- ʼēl his/its _ woman .
28 And _ Dāvid _ he/it _ listened from _ after thus and _ he/it _ said am _ innocent I and _ my _ of_ kingdom from _ with YHWH until perpetuity from _ the _ blood(s)_ of ʼAⱱnēr the _ son_ of Nēr .
29 Let _ them_ whirl over the _ head_ of Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) and _ near/to all _ of the _ house_ of his/its _ father and _ not let _ him_ be_ cut_ off from _ the _ house_ of Yōʼāⱱ one _ who_ suffers_ a_ discharge and _ one _ who_ has_ a_ skin_ disease and _ one _ who_ takes_ hold on _ spindle and _ one _ who_ falls by _ sword and _ _ lacking _ of bread .
30 And _ Yōʼāⱱ and _ ʼAⱱīshay his/its _ woman they _ killed (to) _ ʼAⱱnēr on that he _ had_ killed DOM ˊAsāhʼēl brother _ of_ their at _ Giⱱˊōn in _ battle .
31 and _ Dāvid _ he/it _ said to Yōʼāⱱ and _ near/to all _ of the _ people which with _ him/it tear garments _ of_ your(pl) and _ gird _ yourselves sackcloth(s) and _ mourn to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/before ʼAⱱnēr and _ the _ king Dāvid was _ walking after the _ bier .
32 And _ they _ buried DOM ʼAⱱnēr in _ Ḩeⱱrōn and _ he _ lifted_ up[fn ] the _ king DOM voice _ of_ his and _ he _ wept to the _ grave_ of ʼAⱱnēr and _ all _ of _ they _ wept the _ people .
33 and _ he _ made_ a_ lament the _ king concerning ʼAⱱnēr and _ he _ said like _ the _ death _ of a _ fool will _ he_ die ʼAⱱnēr .
34 Hand _ of_ your not were _ bound and _ your _ two’s_ of_ feet not to _ bronze _ fetters they _ were_ brought_ near as _ falls to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/before sons _ of injustice you _ have_ fallen and _ all _ of _ they _ repeated the _ people to _ weep on/upon/above _ him/it .
35 And _ all _ of _ it _ came the _ people to _ make _ to_ eat DOM Dāvid bread while _ still the _ day and _ Dāvid _ he _ swore_ an_ oath to _ say thus may _ he_ do to/for _ me god and _ thus may _ he_ add if/because if to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/before goes the _ sun I _ will_ taste bread or all _ of anything .
