10 And _ ˊAmāsāʼ not he _ took_ heedin/on/at/with _ sword which in/on/at/with _ hand _ ofYōʼāⱱ and _ struck _ him in/on/at/with _ it into the _ belly entrails _ of_ his and _ poured _ outtowards _ land and _ not he _ repeatedto _ him/it and _ he/it _ diedand _ Yōʼāⱱ and _ ʼAⱱīshay his/its _ woman he _ pursuedafter Sheⱱaˊ the _ son_ ofBicri .
11 And _ one he _ stoodon/upon/above _ him/it of _ young _ men_ ofof _ Yōʼāⱱand _ he/it _ saidwho is _ the_ one_ whohe _ delightsin/on/at/with _ Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) and _ who is _ the_ one_ whofor _ Dāvid after Yōʼāⱱ .
12 And _ ˊAmāsāʼ was _ rollingin/on/at/with _ blood in _ the_ middle the _ highway [fn ] and _ he/it _ sawthe _ man if/because _ thatall _ ofit _ stoppedthe _ people and _ carried DOM ˊAmāsāʼ from the _ highway the _ field and _ threw on/upon/above _ him/it a _ garmentjust _ as he _ sawevery _ ofthe _ came on/upon/above _ him/it and _ stopped .
13 Just _ as he _ had_ removed_ him from the _ highway every _ ofhe _ passed_ onperson after Yōʼāⱱ to _ pursue after Sheⱱaˊ the _ son_ ofBicri .
14 And _ passed in _ all the _ tribes_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) ʼĀⱱēl _ to and _ Bēyt- maacah and _ all the _ Berites and [fn ] and _ they _ camealso after _ him .
15 And _ they _ cameand _ besieged on/upon/above _ him/it in/on/at/with _ ʼĀⱱēl _ of house _ ofmaacah and _ threw _ upa _ moundagainst the _ city and _ stood in/on/at/with _ rampart and _ all the _ troops which was _ withYōʼāⱱ were _ about_ to_ destroyto _ break _ downthe _ wall .
16 And _ a _ woman_ she/it _ called/namedwise from the _ city listen listen say please to Yōʼāⱱ draw _ nearto here and _ speak to _ you .
17 And _ came _ nearto _ her/it and _ she/it _ saidthe _ woman you Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) and _ he/it _ saidI _ am and _ she/it _ saidto _ him/it listen _ tothe _ messages_ ofyour(ms) _ female _ slaveand _ he/it _ saidam _ listeningI .
18 And _ she/it _ saidto _ say surely _ (speak)they _ spokein/on/at/with _ former _ timesto _ say really _ (ask)they _ will_ askin/on/at/with _ ʼĀⱱēl and _ thus/so/as _ followsthey _ ceased19 I am _ the_ peaceful_ _ ofthe _ faithful_ _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) you are _ seekingto _ destroy a _ cityand _ mother in/on/at/with _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) to/for _ what will _ you_ swallow_ upthe _ inheritance_ ofYHWH 20 and _ Yōʼāⱱ _ answered and _ said far _ be_ it` to _ me if I _ will_ swallow_ upand _ if I _ will_ destroy21 is _ notso the _ case if/because a _ manfrom _ hill of _ ʼEfrayimwho _ is _ Sheⱱaˊthe _ son_ ofBicri his/its _ name he _ has_ lifted_ uphis/its _ hand in/on/at/with _ king in/on/at/with _ Dāvid give DOM _ him/it for _ him/it _ being _ aloneand _ withdraw from _ under the _ city and _ she/it _ saidthe _ woman to Yōʼāⱱ here his/its _ head is _ about_ to_ be_ thrownto _ you behind the _ wall .
22 And _ went the _ woman to all _ ofthe _ people in/on/at/with _ wise _ of_ her and _ cut _ offDOM the _ head_ ofSheⱱaˊ the _ son_ ofBicri and _ threw to Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) and _ blew in/on/at/with _ trumpet and _ dispersed from _ under the _ city each to _ tent _ of_ his and _ Yōʼāⱱ he _ returnedYə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) to the _ king .
23 and _ Yōʼāⱱ was _ toall _ ofthe _ army of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)and _ Bə nāyāh the _ son_ ofYə hōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) was _ overthe _ Kə rētī/(Cherethites) [fn ] and _ over the _ Fə lētī .
24 And _ ʼAdorām was _ overthe _ forced _ labourand _ Yə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) the _ son_ ofʼAḩīlūd the _ recorder .
25 And _ Shə vāʼ [fn ] was _ secretaryand _ Tsādōq/(Zadok) and _ ʼEⱱyātār were _ priests26 And _ also ˊĪrāʼ the _ Jairite he _ wasa _ priestfor _ Dāvid .
