4 And _ Dāvid _ sent messengers and _ get _ her and _ came to _ him/it and _ slept with _ her/it [fn ] and _ she [was] _ purifying_ herselffrom _ uncleanness _ of_ her and _ returned to house _ of_ her .
5 And _ she/it _ conceived/became_ pregnantthe _ woman and _ sent and _ told to _ Dāvid and _ she/it _ said[am] _ pregnantI .
6 And _ Dāvid _ sent to Yōʼāⱱ send to _ me DOM riyyāh the _ Ḩittiy and _ Yōʼāⱱ _ sent DOM riyyāh to Dāvid .
7 And _ ʼŪriyyāh _ came to _ him/it and _ Dāvid _ asked concerning _ welfare _ ofYōʼāⱱ and _ about _ fared _ ofthe _ people and _ about _ welfare _ ofthe _ war .
8 And _ Dāvid _ he/it _ saidto _ ʼŪriyyāh [fn ] go _ downto _ house _ of_ your and _ wash feet _ of_ your and _ ʼŪriyyāh _ he/it _ went_ outof _ house _ ofthe _ king and _ went _ outafter _ him the _ present_ ofthe _ king .
9 And _ ʼŪriyyāh _ slept the _ entrance_ ofthe _ house_ ofthe _ king with all _ ofthe _ servants_ ofmaster _ of_ his and _ not he _ went_ downto house _ of_ his .
10 And _ told to _ Dāvid to _ say not ʼŪriyyāh he _ has_ gone_ downto house _ of_ his and _ Dāvid _ he/it _ saidto ʼŪriyyāh am _ not from _ journey [are] _ youcoming why not have _ you_ gone_ downto house _ of_ your .

13 And _ he/it _ calledto _ him/it Dāvid and _ ate in _ presence _ of_ him and _ drank and _ drunk _ him and _ he/it _ went_ outin/on/at/with _ evening to _ lie in/on/at/with _ bed _ of_ his with the _ servants_ ofmaster _ of_ his and _ near/to house _ of_ his not he _ went_ down14 And _ he/it _ wasin/on/at/with _ morning and _ Dāvid _ wrote a _ letterto Yōʼāⱱ and _ sent in/on/at/with _ hand _ ofriyyāh .
15 And _ wrote in/on/at/with _ letter to _ say set DOM riyyāh to the _ frontof _ the_ face_ ofthe _ fighting the _ fiercest and _ withdraw from _ behind _ him and _ struck _ downand _ die .
16 and _ he/it _ wasin/on/at/with _ besieging Yōʼāⱱ against the _ city and _ he/it _ gaveDOM riyyāh to the _ place where he _ knewif/because _ thatmen _ ofstrength [were] _ there17 And _ the _ men_ of_ they _ went_ outthe _ city and _ fought with Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) and _ fell some _ ofthe _ people some _ of_ servants _ ofDāvid and _ he/it _ diedalso ʼŪriyyāh the _ Ḩittiy .
18 And _ Yōʼāⱱ _ sent and _ told to _ Dāvid DOM all _ ofthe _ matters_ ofthe _ battle .
19 And _ he/it _ commandedDOM the _ messenger to _ say when _ finished _ you DOM all _ ofthe _ matters_ ofthe _ battle to _ telling to the _ king .
20 And _ it _ wasif it _ will_ risethe _ anger_ ofthe _ king and _ saying(ms) to/for _ yourself(m) why did _ you_ all_ draw_ nearto the _ city to _ fight am _ not did _ you_ all_ knowDOM how they _ will_ shootfrom _ under the _ wall .
21 Who did _ he_ strike_ downDOM ʼAⱱīmelek the _ son_ ofJerub-Besheth am _ not a _ womandid _ she_ throwon/upon/above _ him/it a _ mill-stone_ ofan _ upper_ mill-stonefrom _ under the _ wall and _ he/it _ diedin/on/at/with _ Tēⱱēʦ to/for _ what did _ you_ all_ draw_ nearto the _ wall and _ say also servant _ of_ your ʼŪriyyāh the _ Ḩittiy he _ has_ died22 And _ he/it _ wentthe _ messenger and _ came and _ told to _ Dāvid DOM all _ ofthat sent _ him Yōʼāⱱ .
23 And _ he/it _ saidthe _ messenger to Dāvid if/because they _ prevailedover _ us the _ men and _ they _ went_ outagainst _ us the _ field and _ we _ wereupon _ them to the _ entrance_ ofthe _ gate .
24 And _ shot [fn ] the _ archers [fn ] to servants _ of_ your from _ under the _ wall and _ died some _ of_ servants _ ofthe _ king and _ also servant _ of_ your ʼŪriyyāh the _ Ḩittiy he _ has_ died25 and _ Dāvid _ he/it _ saidto the _ messenger thus you _ will_ sayto Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) not let _ it_ be_ displeasingin/on/at/with _ eyes _ of_ you DOM the _ matter the _ this if/because as _ well_ as_ another and _ so _ one it _ devoursthe _ sword strengthen attack _ of_ your against the _ city and _ overthrow _ it and _ encourage _ him .
26 And _ the _ wife_ of_ heard of _ ʼŪriyyāh if/because _ thatriyyāh he _ had_ diedher/its _ husband/man and _ mourned on husband _ of_ her .
