14 And _ Yōʼāⱱ _ he/it _ saidnot thus I _ will_ waitto _ your _ face and _ he/it _ tookthree spears in/on/at/with _ hand _ of_ his and _ thrust _ them in/on/at/with _ heart _ ofʼAⱱīshālōm while _ he was _ alivein/on/at/with _ midst _ ofthe _ oak _ tree15 And _ surrounded ten young _ menof _ the_ armour(s)_ ofthe _ bearers_ ofYōʼāⱱ/(Joab) and _ struck DOM ʼAⱱīshālōm and _ killed _ him .
16 And _ Yōʼāⱱ _ blew in/on/at/with _ trumpet and _ returned the _ troops from _ pursuing after Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) if/because Yōʼāⱱ he _ restrainedDOM the _ troops .
17 And _ they _ tookDOM ʼAⱱīshālōm and _ threw DOM _ him/it in/on/at/with _ forest into the _ pit the _ large and _ raised on/upon/above _ him/it a _ heap_ ofstones great very and _ all Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) they _ fledeach to _ tent _ of_ his [fn ] .
18 and _ ʼAⱱīshālōm he _ had_ takenand _ set _ upto _ him/it in/on/at/with _ lifetime _ of_ his [fn ] DOM a _ pillarwhich in/on/at/with _ valley _ ofthe _ king if/because he _ saidthere _ belongs _ notto _ me a _ sonin _ account _ ofto _ cause_ to_ be_ rememberedname _ of_ my and _ he/it _ calledto _ the_ pillar on his/its _ name and _ called to/for _ her/it the _ monument_ ofʼAⱱīshālōm until the _ day the _ this .

30 And _ he/it _ saidthe _ king go _ aroundstand thus and _ turned _ asideand _ stood _ still31 And _ see/lo/see the _ Kūshiy/(Cushi)te was _ comingand _ he/it _ saidthe _ Kūshiyte my _ master let _ him_ receive_ the_ newsthe _ king if/because vindicated _ you YHWH the _ day from _ power _ ofall _ ofthe _ rose _ upagainst _ you .
