6 And _ lay _ down Amnon and _ pretended _ to_ be_ ill and _ came the _ king to _ see _ him and _ he/it _ said Amnon to the _ king let _ her_ come please Tāmār sister _ my and _ let _ her_ make_ bread in _ sight _ my two cakes and _ eat from _ hand _ her .
7 And _ sent Dāvid to Tāmār the _ palace _ at to _ say go please the _ house of _ Amnon brother _ your and _ prepare to _ him/it the _ food .
8 And _ went Tāmār the _ house of _ Amnon brother _ her and _ he [was] _ lying_ down and _ she/it _ took DOM the _ dough and [fn ] and _ made _ cakes in _ sight _ his and _ baked DOM the _ cakes .

31 and _ he/it _ rose_ up the _ king and _ tore DOM clothes _ his and _ lay ground _ on and _ all servants _ his [were] _ standing torn of _ garments .
32 and _ spoke _ up Jonadab the _ son of _ Shimeah the _ brother of _ Dāvid and _ he/it _ said not let _ him_ say my _ master DOM all the _ young _ men the _ sons the _ king they _ have_ killed DOM Amnon for _ him/it _ being _ alone he _ has_ died DOM on the _ mouth of _ Absalom it _ has_ been determined from _ day raped _ he DOM Tāmār sister _ his .
33 And _ now not let _ him_ set my _ master the _ king to his/its _ heart a _ word to _ say all the _ sons the _ king they _ have_ died DOM (if) Amnon for _ him/it _ being _ alone he _ has_ died .

36 And _ he/it _ was as _ soon_ as_ finished _ he to _ speaking and _ see/lo/see the _ sons the _ king they _ came and _ lifted _ up voices _ their and _ wept and _ also the _ king and _ all servants _ his they _ wept a _ weeping a _ great very .
37 And _ Absalom he _ fled and _ he/it _ went to Talmai the _ son of _ Ammihud[fn ] the _ king of _ Geshur and _ mourned on his/its _ son all the _ days .
38 And _ Absalom he _ fled and _ he/it _ went Geshur and _ he/it _ was there three years .
39 And _ longed Dāvid the _ king to _ go _ out against Absalom DOM he _ was_ comforted on Amnon DOM he _ had_ died .
