7 And _ they _ came[fn ] the _ fortress_ ofTsor/(Tyre) and _ all the _ cities_ ofthe _ Ḩiūī and _ the _ Kə naˊₐnī/(Canaanite)[s] and _ they _ went_ outto the _ Negeⱱ_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) Bə ʼēr Sheⱱaˊ .
8 And _ they _ went_ aboutin _ all the _ earth/land and _ they _ camefrom _ the _ end _ ofnine months and _ twenty day[s] Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) .
9 And _ Yōʼāⱱ/(Joab) _ he/it _ gaveDOM the _ number_ ofthe _ muster_ ofthe _ peopleto the _ king and _ it _ becameYisrāʼēl /(Israel) eight hundred(s) thousand man _ ofstrength who _ drewa _ swordand _ the _ man_ ofYə hūdāh was _ fivehundred(s) thousand man .
10 And _ the _ heart_ of_ it _ struckof _ DāvidDOM _ him/it after thus he _ had_ countedDOM the _ people and _ Dāvid _ he/it _ saidto YHWH I _ have_ sinnedexceedingly that _ whichI _ have_ doneand _ now Oh _ YHWH take _ awayplease DOM the _ iniquity_ ofyour _ servant_ of_ of if/because I _ have_ acted_ foolishlyexceedingly .

13 And _ he _ wentGād to Dāvid and _ he _ toldto _ him/it and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it will _ it _ cometo/for _ yourself(m) seven years famine in _ your _ of_ land or three months your _ fleeing [fn ] to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforefoes _ of_ your and _ he will _ of_ be _ pursuing_ youand _ if to _ bethree _ ofdays pestilence in _ your _ of_ land now know and _ see what will _ I_ bring_ backthe _ one _ of_ who _ sent_ memessage .

16 And _ he _ stretched_ outhis/its _ hand the _ messenger Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) to _ destroy _ it and _ YHWH _ he/it _ sighed/regrettedconcerning the _ harm and _ he/it _ saidto _ messenger who _ was _ destroyingamong _ people enough now let _ drophand _ of_ your and _ the _ messenger_ ofYHWH he _ wasnear the _ threshing_ floor_ of(the) _ ʼAravnāh [fn ] the _ Yə ⱱūşī/(Jebusite) .

25 And _ he/it _ builtthere Dāvid an _ altarto/for _ YHWH and _ he/it _ ascendedburnt _ offeringsand _ peace _ offeringsand _ YHWH _ he _ was_ entreatedfor _ land and _ it _ was_ restrainedthe _ plague from _ under Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
