16 And _ Dāvid he _ passed_ ona _ littlebeyond _ the _ summit and _ see/lo/see Tsīⱱāʼ/(Ziba) the _ servant_ ofMephi- bshet to _ meet _ him and _ couple _ ofdonkeys saddled and _ on _ them two _ hundredbread[s] and _ a _ hundredbunches _ of_ raisinsand _ a _ hundredsummer _ fruitand _ skin _ ofwine .

5 And _ came the _ king Dāvid to Baḩurīm and _ see/lo/see from _ there a _ man[was] _ coming_ outof _ family _ ofof _ the_ house_ ofof _ Shāʼūland _ his/its _ name [was] _ Shimˊīthe _ son_ ofGērāʼ [he _ was]_ coming_ outcoming _ outand _ cursing .
6 And _ pelted in/on/at/with _ stones DOM Dāvid and _ DOM all _ ofthe _ servants_ ofthe _ king Dāvid and _ all the _ people and _ all the _ powerful/mighty(pl) on _ right _ of_ his and _ on _ left _ of_ his .
7 And _ this Shimˊī he _ saidin/on/at/with _ cursed _ he get _ outget _ outOh _ man_ ofthe _ bloodshed and _ man _ ofthe _ worthless .
8 He _ has_ brought_ backon _ you YHWH all _ ofthe _ blood(s)_ ofthe _ house_ ofShāʼūl whom you _ have_ reignedin _ place_ him [fn ] and _ YHWH _ he/it _ gaveDOM the _ royalty in/on/at/with _ hand _ ofʼAⱱīshālōm son _ of_ your and _ look _ you in/on/at/with _ disaster _ of_ you if/because [are] _ a_ man_ ofblood(s) you .
9 And _ ʼAⱱīshay _ he/it _ saidthe _ son_ ofTsə rūyāh /(Zeruiah) to the _ king to/for _ what will _ he_ cursethe _ dog the _ dead the _ this DOM my _ master the _ king let _ me_ pass_ overplease and _ take _ offDOM his/its _ head .
10 and _ he/it _ saidthe _ king what to/for _ me and _ with _ you _ allOh _ sons_ ofTsə rūyāh thus [fn ] he _ is_ cursingand [fn ] YHWH he _ has_ saidto _ him/it curse DOM Dāvid and _ who will _ he_ saywhy have _ you_ donethus .
11 and _ Dāvid _ he/it _ saidto ʼAⱱīshay and _ near/to all _ ofservants _ of_ his here son _ of_ my who he _ went_ outof _ flesh _ and_ blood_ of_ my _ own[is] _ seekingDOM life _ of_ my and _ more if/because now the _ Ben-_ ofthe _ Benjamite leave _ aloneto _ him/it and _ curse if/because he _ has_ spokento _ him/it YHWH 12 Perhaps he _ will_ lookYHWH in/on/at/with _ distress _ of_ my [fn ] and _ repay YHWH to _ me good in _ place_ ofcursing _ of_ his the _ day the _ this .

14 and _ arrived the _ king and _ all the _ people which with _ him/it exhausted and _ refreshed there .
15 And _ ʼAⱱīshālōm and _ all the _ people the _ man_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) they _ cameYə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) and _ ʼAḩītofel with _ him/it .
16 And _ he/it _ wasjust _ then he _ cameḨūshay the _ ʼArkī the _ friend_ ofDāvid to ʼAⱱīshālōm and _ Ḩūshay _ he/it _ saidto ʼAⱱīshālōm may _ he_ livethe _ king may _ he_ livethe _ king .

20 and _ ʼAⱱīshālōm _ he/it _ saidto ʼAḩītofel give to/for _ you _ allcounsel what will _ we_ do21 And _ ʼAḩītofel _ he/it _ saidto ʼAⱱīshālōm go into the _ concubines_ ofI _ will_ show_ you(ms) whom he _ leftto _ take _ care_ ofthe _ house and _ hear all _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) if/because _ thatyou _ have_ made_ yourself_ odiouswith I _ will_ show_ you(ms) and _ strengthened the _ hands_ ofall _ of[those] _ whowith _ you .
22 And _ pitched for _ ʼAⱱīshālōm the _ tent on the _ roof and _ ʼAⱱīshālōm _ went _ ininto the _ concubines_ ofhis/its _ father in _ sight _ ofall _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
23 And _ advice _ ofʼAḩītofel which he _ counseledin _ the_ days the _ those just _ as he _ enquires[fn ] in/on/at/with _ word _ ofthe _ ʼElohīm [was] _ soall _ ofthe _ counsel_ ofʼAḩītofel both by _ Dāvid as _ well_ asby _ ʼAⱱīshālōm .
