8 He_has_brought_back on_you YHWH all_of the_blood(s)_of the_house_of Shāʼūl whom you_have_reigned in_place_of_him[fn] and_ YHWH _he/it_gave DOM the_royalty in_the_hand_of ʼAⱱīshālōm son_of_your and_here_you are_in_calamity_of_your if/because are_a_man_of blood(s) you.
9 And_ ʼAⱱīshay _he/it_said the_son_of Tsərūyāh/(Zeruiah) to the_king to/for_what will_he_curse the_dog (the)_dead the_this DOM my_master the_king let_me_pass_over please and_let_me_remove DOM his/its_head.
10 and_he/it_said the_king what to/for_me and_to_you(pl) Oh_sons_of Tsərūyāh thus[fn] he_is_cursing and[fn] YHWH he_has_said to_him/it curse DOM Dāvid and_who will_he_say why have_you_done thus.
11 and_ Dāvid _he/it_said to ʼAⱱīshay and_near/to all_of servants_of_his HERE son_of_my who he_went_out from_inward_parts_of_my is_seeking DOM life_of_my and_indeed if/because now the_Ben-_of (the)_jaminite leave_alone to_him/it and_let_him_curse if/because he_has_spoken to_him/it YHWH.

22 And_people_pitched for_ʼAⱱīshālōm the_tent on the_roof and_ ʼAⱱīshālōm _he_went into the_concubines_of his/its_father to_the_eyes_of all_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
