4 was_a_son_of thirty year[s] Dāvid when_he_became_king forty year[s] he_reigned.
5 In_Ḩeⱱrōn he_reigned over Yəhūdāh/(Judah) seven years and_six months and_in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) he_reigned thirty and_three year[s] over all_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah).
6 And_he/it_went the_king and_his_of_men Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) against the_Yəⱱūşī/(Jebusite)[s] who_was_dwelling_of the_earth/land and_he/it_said to_Dāvid to_say not you_will_come here if/because (if) he_will_turn_you_aside the_blind_people and_the_lame_people to_say not he_will_come Dāvid here.
7 And_ Dāvid _he_captured DOM the_stronghold_of Tsiyyōn/(Zion) that is_the_city_of Dāvid.
8 And_ Dāvid _he/it_said in_the_day (the)_that any_of one_who_attacks_of (of)_a_Yəⱱūşī and_let_him_approach by_tunnel and_DOM the_lame_people and_DOM the_blind_people who_are_hated_of[fn] of_the_self_of of_Dāvid therefore yes/correct/thus/so people_say a_blind_person and_a_lame_person not he_will_go into the_house.
9 And_ Dāvid _he/it_sat_down//remained//lived in_stronghold and_he/it_called to/for_her/it the_city_of Dāvid and_ Dāvid _he/it_built round_about from the_Millōʼ and_to_the_inside.
10 And_ Dāvid _he/it_went going and_becoming_great and_YHWH the_god_of hosts with_him/it.
11 and_ Ḩīrām _he_sent the_king_of Tsor/(Tyre) messengers to Dāvid and_wood(s)_of cedars and_craftsmen_of wood and_craftsmen_of the_stone_of a_wall and_they_built a_house for_Dāvid.

13 and_ Dāvid _he/it_took again concubines and_wives from_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) after he_came from_Ḩeⱱrōn and_they_were_born[fn][fn] again to_Dāvid sons and_daughters.
14 And_these are_the_names_of the_ones_born to_him/it in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) Shammūˊa and_Shōⱱāⱱ and_Nātān and_Shəlomoh/(Solomon).
15 And_Yāⱱəḩar/(Ibhar) and_ʼElīshūˊa and_Nefeg and_Yāfīˊa/(Japhia).
16 And_ʼElīshāˊma and_ʼElyādāˊ and_ʼElīfeleţ.
17 and_ the_Fəlishtiy _they_heard if/because_that people_had_anointed DOM Dāvid to_king over Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_ all_of _they_went_up the_Fəlishtiy to_seek DOM Dāvid and_ Dāvid _he/it_listened and_he/it_descended to the_stronghold.
18 And_the_Fəlishtiy they_had_come and_they_had_spread_out in_the_valley_of Rəfāʼīm.
19 And_ Dāvid _he_enquired by_YHWH to_say will_I_go_up against the_Fəlishtiy will_you_give_them in_my_of_hand and_ YHWH _he/it_said to Dāvid go_up if/because certainly_(give) I_will_give DOM the_Fəlishtiy in_your_of_hand.
20 And_ Dāvid _he_went in pərāʦīm and_he_defeated_them there Dāvid and_he/it_said YHWH he_has_broken_through DOM enemies_of_my to/for_my_face/front like_a_breaking_out_of water therefore yes/correct/thus/so he_called the_name_of the_place (the)_that Baˊal Pərāʦīm.
21 And_they_abandoned there DOM idols_of_their and_he_carried_them_off Dāvid and_his_of_men.
22 and_they_repeated again the_Fəlishtiy to_come_up and_they_had_spread_out in_the_valley_of Rəfāʼīm.
23 And_ Dāvid _he_enquired by_YHWH and_he/it_said not you_must_go_up go_around to behind_them and_you_will_come to/for_them from_in_front_of the_balsam_trees.
24 And_let_it_be just_as_you_hear[fn] DOM the_sound_of marching in_the_tops_of the_balsam_trees then you_will_act_decisively if/because then YHWH he_has_gone_out to_your_face to_attack (in)_the_camp_of the_Fəlishtiy.
25 And_ Dāvid _he/it_made so just_as he_had_commanded_him YHWH and_he_defeated DOM the_Fəlishtiy from_Geⱱaˊ until you_come Gezer.
