2 For/Because yourselves you _all _have _known, brothers, the entrance of _us which to you _all, that not vain it _has _become, 2 but having _previously _suffered and having _been _mistreated, as you _all _have _known, in Filippou we _spoke _boldly in the god of _us, to _speak to you _all the good _message of_ the _god among much struggle.
3 For/Because the exhortation of _us not of deception, nor of impurity, nor in deceit, 4 but as we _have _been _approved by the god, to _be _entrusted the good _message, thus we _are _speaking, not as to _people bringing _pleasure, but to_god, the one approving the hearts of _us.
5 For/Because neither once with message of _flattery we _were _become, as you _all _have _known, nor with a_under _pretense for _greediness (god is witness) 6 nor seeking from people glory, neither from you _all, nor from others, 7 being _able in burden to _be, as of_chosen _one /messiah ambassadors.
But we _were _become infants in the_midst of _you _all, as if a_nursing _mother may _be _cherishing the of _herself children.
8 Thus longing for _you _all, we _were _taking _pleasure to _share with _you _all, not only the good _message of_ the _god, but also the of _ourselves lives, because beloved to _us you _all _were _become.
9 For/Because you _all _are _remembering, brothers, the labour of _us and the hardship, night and day working, in _order that not to _burden anyone of _you _all, we _proclaimed to you _all the good _message of_ the _god.
10 You _all are witnesses and the god, how devoutly, and justly, and blamelessly, to _you _all the ones believing we _were _become, 11 just _as you _all _have _known how one each of _you _all, as a_father to _children of _himself, 12 exhorting you _all, and consoling, and testifying, in _order that to _be _walking you _all worthily of_ the _god, the one having _called you _all into the of _himself kingdom and glory.
13 And because _of this also we are _giving _thanks to_ the _god unceasingly that having _received the_message by _hearing from us of_ the _god, you _all _received not the_message of _humans, but as truly it _is, the_message of_god, which also is _working in you _all which believing.
14 For/Because you _all imitators were _become, brothers, of _the assemblies of_ the _god, which being in the Youdaia in chosen _one /messiah Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa), because the same things you _all _suffered, also you _all by your own fellow-countrymen, as also they did by the Youdaiōns, 15 who both the master having _killed _off Yaʸsous, and their prophets, and us having _driven _out, and to_god not bringing _pleasure, but to _all people of _contrary, 16 forbidding us to _the pagans to _speak, in _order _that they _may _be _saved, because/for which to _fulfill of _them the sins always.
But came on them the severe _anger to end.
17 But we, brothers, having _been _orphaned of you _all, because/for the_time of_an_hour, in _face not in _heart, more _abundantly we _were _earnest the face of _you _all to _see with great desire.
18 Because we _wanted to _come to you _all, I indeed Paulos, both once and twice, and hindered us the Satan/(Sāţān).
19 For/Because who is of _us the_hope or the_joy or the_crown of _boasting?
Or not are even you _all, before the master of _us, Yaʸsous, at the of _him coming?
20 For/Because you _all are the glory of _us, and the joy.
