58:13 Blessings for keeping the rest day

13 If on the rest day, you turn back from what you wanted to do

and don’t try to please yourself on my sacred day,

enjoy Yahweh’s sacred and honourable rest day,

and honour it instead of doing your own activities such as finding your own pleasure or delivering a speech,

14 then you’ll take delight in Yahweh.

I’ll make you ride on the heights of the earth,

and I’ll give you the same blessings that I gave your ancestor, Yakov (Jacob).

That’s what Yahweh has spoken.

13 If you_will_turn_back from_the_sabbath foot_of_your to_do pleasures_of_your in/on_day my_holiness_of_my and_you_will_call (to)_sabbath a_delight (to)_the_holy_day_of YHWH honourable and_you_will_honour_it from_doing ways_of_your_own from_finding pleasure_of_your and_to_speak a_message.

14 Then you_will_take_delight on YHWH and_I_will_make_you_ride on the_high_places_of[fn][fn] the_land and_I_will_feed_you the_inheritance_of Yaˊₐqoⱱ/(Jacob) I_will_show_you(ms) if/because the_mouth_of YHWH it_has_spoken.
