The word translated “colonnade” is transliterated in some versions as “parbar.” This word appears only here and in 2 Kings 23:11 in the Old Testament. The meaning of this word was not clear for a long time, but was helped by the Temple Scroll in the Dead Sea Scrolls. See Klein 2006:493 and HALOT 3:962.
