BSB This is what the LORD says:
 ⇔ “Do not learn the ways of the nations
⇔ or be terrified by the signs in the heavens,
⇔ though the nations themselves are terrified by them.

OEB Thus saith Jehovah:
 ⇔ Learn not the ways of the heathen,
⇔ And be not dismayed at the signs in the sky,
 ⇔ As the heathen are dismayed;

WEB Yahweh says,

LSV Thus said YHWH: “Do not accustom yourselves to the way of the nations,
And do not be frightened by the signs of the heavens,
For the nations are frightened by them.

FBV This is what the Lord says: Don't adopt the practices of other nations. Don't be terrified as they are by signs in the heavens that they interpret as predicting disaster.

 ⇔ and do not be terrified by strange/unusual things that you see in the sky,
⇔ even though they cause the people of other nations to be terrified.
