ULT And the priest shall take one lamb, and he shall present it as a guilt offering and the measure of oil. And he shall wave them as a wave offering to the face of Yahweh.

It is highly unlikely that the living lamb was physically waved in Yahweh’s presence before it was killed. Instead, this expression may refer to waving one’s hands over the living lamb or some other physical motion that demarcated the lamb (and the oil) as the kind of sacrifice that qualified as a wave offering. It may be helpful to clarify this for your readers in a footnote or in the text of your translation. Alternate translation: “And he shall wave his hands over them as a wave offering to the face of Yahweh”
