BSB § Therefore this is what the LORD says:
 ⇔ “Inquire among the nations:
⇔ Who has ever heard things like these?
⇔ Virgin Israel has done a most terrible thing.

OEB Thus therefore saith Jehovah:
 ⇔ Ask any heathen man
⇔ If he ever heard aught like this?
 ⇔ An utterly horrible thing
⇔ Hath been wrought by the Virgin of Israel.

WEB Therefore Yahweh says:
 ⇔ “Ask now among the nations,
⇔ ‘Who has heard such things?’
⇔ The virgin of Israel has done a very horrible thing.

WMB Therefore the LORD says:

NET Therefore, the Lord says,
 ⇔ “Ask the people of other nations
 ⇔ whether they have heard of anything like this.
 ⇔ Israel should have been like a virgin.
 ⇔ But she has done something utterly revolting!

FBV Consequently this is what the Lord says: Ask around the nations—has anybody ever heard anything like this? Virgin Israel has acted really badly.
