ULT And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The word of Yahweh that you have spoken is good.” And he said, “Is it not, rather, peace and stability will be in my days?”

The episode concerning Merodach-baladan (20:12-19), whom Sennacherib had driven from Babylon before 701 BC, happened earlier than the events of chs 18–19 but after Hezekiah’s illness (20:12).

Hezekiah asks this question for emphasis knowing the answer already. Alternate translation: “I can be sure that there will be peace and stability in my days.”
