31:1 The assisting of God of Yerushalem

31 woe_to those_who_go_down Miʦrayim/(Egypt) for_help on horses they_depend and_they_have_relied on chariotry if/because it_is_many and_on horsemen if/because they_are_numerous exceedingly and_not they_look on the_holy_one_of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_DOM YHWH not they_seek.
2 And_also he is_wise and_he/it_brought calamity and_DOM words/messages_of_his not he_has_turned_aside and_he_will_rise_up on the_house_of evil-doers and_on the_help_of those_who_do_of (of)_wickedness.
3 And_Miʦrayim is_humankind and_not god and_their_of_horses are_flesh and_not spirit and_YHWH he_will_stretch_out his/its_hand and_he_will_stumble the_one_who_helps and_he_will_fall the_one_who_is_helped and_together of_them_of_all they_will_come_to_an_end.
4 if/because thus he_has_said YHWH to_me just_as it_growls the_lion and_the_young_lion over prey_of_its that it_is_summoned on/upon/above_him/it a_multitude_of shepherds from_their_of_voice not it_is_dismayed and_from_their_of_tumult not it_cringes so he_will_come_down YHWH hosts to_go_to_war on the_mountain_of Tsiyyōn/(Zion) and_on hill_of_its.
5 Like_birds flying so YHWH he_will_defend hosts (on) Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) he_will_defend_it and_he_will_rescue_it he_will_pass_over_it and_he_will_deliver_it.
6 Return to_the_one_whom people_have_made_deep rebellion Oh_people_of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
7 If/because in_the_day (the)_that they_will_reject everyone the_idols_of his_silver_of_of and_the_idols_of his_gold_of_of which they_have_made to/for_you(pl) hands_of_your(pl) sin.
8 And_ ʼAshshūr _it_will_fall by_a_sword not a_human and_a_sword not a_human it_will_consume_it and_it_will_flee to_him/it from_face/in_front_of a_sword and_its_young_of_men (into)_forced_labour they_will_become.
9 And_its_of_rock from_terror it_will_pass_away and_they_will_be_dismayed from_a_standard commanders_of_its the_utterance_of YHWH who fire to_him/it in_Tsiyyōn and_an_oven to_him/it in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
