31 woe _to those_who_go _down Miʦrayim/(Egypt) for_help on horses they _depend and_they _have _relied on chariotry if/because it_is_many and_on horsemen if/because they _are _numerous exceedingly and_not they _look on the _holy_one_of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_DOM YHWH not they _seek.

2 And_also he is_wise and_he/it _brought calamity and_DOM words/messages _of_his not he _has _turned _aside and_he _will _rise _up on the_house _of evil-doers and_on the_help _of those _who_do _of (of)_wickedness.

3 And_Miʦrayim is_humankind and_not god and_horses _of_their are_flesh and_not spirit and_YHWH he _will _stretch _out his/its_hand and_he _will _stumble the _one _who_helps and_he _will _fall the _one _who _is_helped and_together of _them _of_all they_will _come _to _an _end.

4 if/because thus he _has _said YHWH to_me just_as it _growls the_lion and_the _young_lion over prey _of_its that it _is _summoned on/upon/above_him/it a _multitude _of shepherds from_voice _of_their not it _is _dismayed and_from_tumult _of_their not it _cringes so he _will _come _down YHWH soldiers/messengers to_go _to _war on the _mountain _of Tsiyyōn/(Zion) and_on hill _of_its.

5 Like_birds flying so YHWH he _will _defend soldiers/messengers (on) Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) he _will _defend_it and_he _will _rescue_it he _will _pass _over_it and_he _will _deliver_it.

6 Return to_the_one_whom people _have _made _deep rebellion Oh _people _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).

7 If/because in _the_day (the)_that they_will _reject everyone the _idols _of his _silver _of_his and_the _idols _of his _gold _of_his which they _have _made to/for_you(pl) hands _of_your(pl) sin.

8 And_ ʼAshshūr _it _will _fall by_a _sword not a _human and_a _sword not a _human it_will _consume _it and_it _will _flee to_him/it from_face/in _front _of a _sword and_its _young _of_men (into)_forced_labour they _will _become.

9 And_rock _of_its from_terror it _will _pass _away and_they _will _be _dismayed from_a _standard commanders _of_its the _utterance _of YHWH who fire to_him/it in_Tsiyyōn and_an _oven to_him/it in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
