UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive

נִשְׁבַּ֥ר אוֹ־נִשְׁבָּ֖ה

(Some words not found in UHB: oath YHWH you(ms)_will_be between both_of=them if not Shalah his/its=hand in/on/at/with,property his/its=neighbour and=he/it_will_take owner,its and=not make_restitution )

If your language does not use the passive form in this way, you can state this in active form or in another way that is natural in your language, as modeled in the UST.

נִשְׁבָּ֖ה

Here, carried away means that it is not a thief but a wild animal that takes the ox or sheep away (to eat it). See 22:12 for cases where the animal is stolen while in another’s care.
