BSB then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant and with My ministers the Levites who are priests, so that David will not have a son to reign on his throne.

OEB not until then shall My covenant be annulled with David My servant, that a son of his should reign upon his throne; or My covenant with the Levitical priests, My ministers.

WEB then my covenant could also be broken with David my servant, that he won’t have a son to reign on his throne; and with the Levitical priests, my ministers.

NET could my covenant with my servant David and my covenant with the Levites ever be broken. So David will by all means always have a descendant to occupy his throne as king and the Levites will by all means always have priests who will minister before me.

FBV only then would my agreement be broken with David my servant and with the Levites who serve as my priests, so that David would not have a descendant to rule on his throne.

T4T Similarly, you cannot annul the promise/agreement that I made with King David, who served me well, that there will always be descendants of his who will rule Judah. The same is true for my agreement with the descendants of Levi who are priests who do work for me.

CLV et pactum meum irritum esse poterit cum David servo meo, ut non sit ex eo filius qui regnet in throno ejus, et Levitæ et sacerdotes ministri mei.
