BSB § When you tell these people all these things, they will ask you, ‘Why has the LORD pronounced all this great disaster against us? What is our guilt? What is the sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?’

OEB After thou hast delivered this message to the people, they will ask thee why Jehovah has doomed them to all this misery. "What is our guilt," they will say, "and what is the sin we have committed against Jehovah our God?"

WEB It will happen, when you tell this people all these words, and they ask you, ‘Why has Yahweh pronounced all this great evil against us?’ or ‘What is our iniquity?’ or ‘What is our sin that we have committed against Yahweh our God?’

LSV And it has come to pass,
When you declare all these words to this people,
And they have said to you,
Why has YHWH spoken all this great evil against us? Indeed, what [is] our iniquity, and what [is] our sin,
That we have sinned against our God YHWH?

FBV When you explain all this to them they'll ask you, “Why has the Lord ordered that such a terrible disaster should happen to us? What did we do wrong? What sin have we committed against the Lord our God?”

T4T When you tell these things to the people, they will ask, ‘Why has Yahweh declared that these terrible things will happen to us? What have we done for which we deserve to be punished like this? What sin have we committed against Yahweh our God?’

LEB And then when you tell this people all these words and they ask you, ‘Why has Yahweh pronounced against us all this great evil, and whatis our iniquity, and what is our sin that we have sinned against Yahweh our God?’

WYC And whanne thou schalt telle alle these wordis to this puple, and thei schulen seie to thee, Whi spak the Lord al this greet yuel on vs? what is oure wickidnesse, ether what is oure synne which we synneden to oure Lord God?

LUT Und wenn du solches alles diesem Volk gesagt hast, und sie zu dir sprechen werden: Warum redet der HErr über uns all dies große Unglück? welches ist die Missetat und Sünde, damit wir wider den HErrn, unsern GOtt, gesündiget haben?

CLV Et cum annuntiaveris populo huic omnia verba hæc, et dixerint tibi: Quare locutus est Dominus super nos omne malum grande istud? quæ iniquitas nostra, et quod peccatum nostrum, quod peccavimus Domino Deo nostro?
