§ But Irijah would not listen to him; instead, he arrested Jeremiah and took him to the officials.

OEB "It is false, said Jeremiah, "I am not deserting to the Chaldeans." But Jirijah, refusing to listen, apprehended Jeremiah and brought him before the courtiers,

LUT Jeremia sprach: Das ist nicht wahr, ich will nicht zu den Chaldäern fallen. Aber Jeria wollte ihn nicht hören, sondern griff Jeremia und brachte ihn zu den Fürsten.
