After the readings from the Law and from the Prophets,[fn] the leaders sent a messenger over to them to ask, “Men, brothers, if you bring any message of encouragement for the congregation, please share it.”13:15 The Hebrew Scriptures are divided into the Law, the Prophets, and the Writings.

13:15 After the usual Scriptures for the day had been read, one from the books of Moses and the other from the prophets (see Luke 4:16-28), the officials of the synagogue invited the visitors to speak any word of encouragement for the people.

The word Law is the name for one part of the Hebrew Scriptures, and the word Prophets is the name for another part of the Hebrew Scriptures. Even though these are common nouns, Luke is using them to mean specific things. Show this in your translation in the way that is natural in your language.
