7 For/Because this the Melⱪisedek, king of _Salaʸm/(Shālēm), priest of_ the _god the highest, the one having _met with _Abraʼam/(ʼAⱱrāhām) returning from the slaughter of _the kings, and having _blessed him, 2 to _whom also a_tenth of all things allotted Abraʼam, first on _one _hand being _translated king of _righteousness, on _the _other _hand then also king of _Salaʸm, which is:
king of _peace, 3 fatherless, motherless, without _genealogy, neither beginning of _days, nor of _life end having, but having _been _likened to _the son of_ the _god, he _is _remaining a_priest in the continual.
4 And be _observing how _great is this one, to _whom a_tenth Abraʼam, gave out _of the best _spoils, the patriarch.
5 And the ones on _one _hand from the sons of _Leui/(Lēvī) the priestly _office receiving, a_command are _having to _be _tithing the people according _to the law, this is the brothers of _them, although having _come _out out _of the loin of _Abraʼam, 6 on _the _other _hand the one not being _traced from them, has _tithed Abraʼam, and the one having the promises, he _has _blessed.
7 But apart _from from _all controversy, the lessor by the better is _being _blessed.
8 And here on _one _hand tithes dying _off people are _receiving, on _the _other _hand there being _attested that he _is _living.
9 And as so _to _speak to _say, through Abraʼam/(ʼAⱱrāhām), even Leui/(Lēvī), the one tithes receiving, has _been _tithed.
10 For/Because still in the loin of _his father he _was, when met with _him Melⱪisedek/(Malkī-ʦedeq).
11 If therefore indeed perfection by the Leuitaʸs /(from _tribe _of _Lēvī) priesthood was, the for people on it has _been _legislated, what still need was _there according _to the order of _Melⱪisedek, for _another to _be _rising _up priest, and not according _to the order of_Aʼarōn/(ʼAhₐron) to _be _being _called?
12 For/Because being _replaced the priesthood, from necessity also of _law a_changing is _becoming.
13 With for whom is _being _said these things, of _tribe another has _partaken, from which no _one has _served at _the altar.
14 For/Because quite _evident it _is, that out _of Youda/(Yəhūdāh) has _risen the master of _us, because/for which a_tribe concerning priests nothing Mōsaʸs/(Mosheh) spoke.
15 And more _abundant still very _evident it _is, if according _to the likeness of _Melⱪisedek, is _rising _up priest another, 16 who not according _to the_law of_a_command fleshy has _become, but according _to the_power of_a_life indestructible.
17 For/Because it _is _being _testified, that You are a_priest to the age according _to the order of _Melⱪisedek.
18 An_annulment for on _one _hand is _becoming of _going _before the_command, because _of the of _it weak and unprofitable, 19 (for nothing perfected the law), on _the _other _hand the_introduction of_a_better hope, by which we _are _nearing to_ the _god.
20 And to as _much _as not apart _from oath, the ones for on _one _hand without an_oath are priests having _become, 21 on _the _other _hand the one with an_oath by the one saying to him:
Swore the_master, and not will _be _being _regretful:
You are a_priest for the age, 22 by so _much also of_a_better covenant, has _become the_guarantee, Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa).
23 And the ones on _one _hand more are having _become priests, because _of that by _death to _be _being _forbidden to _be _continuing _with, 24 on _the _other _hand the one because _of that to _be _remaining him for the age, permanent is _holding the priesthood.
25 Whence even to _be _saving to the full _extent he _is _able, the ones approaching through him to_ the _god, always living in _order that to _be _pleading for them.
26 For/Because such for _us also was _befitting a_chief _priest, devout, innocent, undefiled, having _been _separated from the sinners, and higher than the heavens having _become, 27 who not is _having in _every day necessity, as the chief _priests, previously for his own sins sacrifices to _be _offering _up, then for _the sins of _the people, because/for this he _did once _for _all, himself having _offered _up.
28 The for law men is _appointing as _chief _priests having weakness, the but message of _the oath, which is after the law, a_son, because/for the age having _been _perfected.
