17:1 Neyimu Hihusapat King

17 and_became _king Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) his/its_son in _place_his and_strengthened on Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
2 And_placed an _army in_all the _cities of _Yəhūdāh the_fortified and_he/it _gave garrisons in_land of _Yəhūdāh and_in/on/at/with_cities of _ʼEfrayim which he _had _captured ʼĀşāʼ his/its_father.
3 And_he/it _was YHWH with Yəhōshāfāţ if/because he _walked in/on/at/with_ways of _Dāvid his/its_father the_earlier and_not he _sought after _the_Baals.
4 If/because after_god his/its_father he _sought and_in/on/at/with_commandments_his he _walked and_not according _to_practices of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
5 And_established YHWH DOM the_kingdom in_his/its_hand and_brought all Yəhūdāh/(Judah) tribute to_Yəhōshāfāţ and_he/it _was to_him/it wealth and_honour to_increase _in _number.
6 And_courageous his/its_heart in/on/at/with_ways of_YHWH and_furthermore he _removed DOM the_high _places and_DOM the_asherah _poles from_Yəhūdāh.
7 and_in_year _of three of_reign_his he _sent of_officials_his to/for wwww and_to/for_ˊOⱱad^yāh and_to/for_Zəkar^yāh and_to/for_Nethanel and_to/for_Mīkāyəhū to_teach in/on/at/with_cities of _Yəhūdāh.
8 And_with_them the_Levites Shəmaˊ^yāh and_Nethaniah and_Zebadiah and_ˊAsāh^ʼēl and_Shemiramoth[fn] and_Jehonathan and_ʼAdoniy^yāh and_Tobijah and_good wwww the_Levites and_with_them ʼElīshāˊma and_Yəhōrām/(Jehoram) the_priests.
9 And_taught in/on/at/with_Yəhūdāh and_with_them the _book of _the _law of_YHWH and_went _around in_all the _cities of _Yəhūdāh and_taught in/on/at/with_people.

10 And_he/it _was the _dread of_YHWH on all the _kingdoms the_lands which [were]_around Yəhūdāh and_not they _waged _war with Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat).
11 And_from [the]_Fəlishəttiy [were]_bringing to_Yəhōshāfāţ tribute and_silver a _load also the_Arabs [were]_bringing to_him/it flock[s] rams seven thousand(s) and_seven hundred(s) and_male _goats seven thousand(s) and_seven hundred(s).
12 and_he/it _was Yəhōshāfāţ going and_he _became _powerful to to_more and_he/it _built in/on/at/with_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) fortresses and_cities of _stores.
13 And_supplies much it _belonged to_him/it in/on/at/with_cities of _Yəhūdāh and_men of _war mighty _[men] of _strength in/on/at/with_Yərūshālayim/(Jerusalem).
14 And_these muster_their by_houses ancestral_their of_Yəhūdāh commanders of _thousands Adnah the_commander and_with_him mighty _[men] of _strength three hundred(s) thousand.
15 and_at his/its_hand Jehohanan the_commander and_with_him two _hundred and_eighty thousand.

19 these the_served DOM the_king from_to/for_besides [those]_whom he _put the_king in/on/at/with_cities the_fortified in_all Yəhūdāh.
