ULT And the famine was over all the face of the land, so Joseph opened all the buildings that had grain in them and sold grain to the Egyptians. And the famine was severe in the land of Egypt.

UST Since the severe food shortage was affecting the whole country, Joseph had his helpers open up all the storehouses full of grain, and he started selling the grain to the people of Egypt. Then the famine became worse and worse throughout the country of Egypt.
