8 And_they_came those_who_had_a_skin_disease the_these to the_edge_of the_camp and_they_came into a_tent one and_they_ate and_they_drank and_they_carried_off from_there silver and_gold and_clothes and_they_went and_they_hid_them and_they_returned and_they_came into a_tent another and_they_carried_off_things from_there and_they_went and_they_hid_them.
9 And_they_said each to his/its_neighbour not right we are_doing the_day the_this is_a_day_of news it and_we are_silent and_we_will_wait until the_light_of the_morning and_it_will_find_us punishment and_now come and_let_us_go and_let_us_tell the_household_of the_king.
10 And_they_came and_they_called_out to the_gatekeeper_of the_city and_they_told to/for_them to_say we_went into the_camp_of ʼArām and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE there_was_not there anyone and_the_sound_of anyone if/because (if) the_horse[s] are_tethered and_the_donkey[s] are_tethered and_the_tents just_as they_were.
11 And_he/it_called the_gatekeepers and_they_told the_household_of the_king within.
12 And_he/it_rose_up the_king night and_he/it_said to servants_of_his let_me_tell please to/for_you(pl) DOM that_which they_have_done to/for_us ʼArām they_know if/because_that are_hungry we and_they_went_out from the_camp to_hide_themselves in_country[fn] to_say if/because they_will_come_out from the_city and_we_will_seize_them alive and_near/to the_city we_will_go.
13 And_he_answered one of_servants_of_his and_he/it_said and_let_people_take please five of the_horses which_remain which they_are_left in_it HERE_they will_be_like_all_of the[fn] of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) which they_are_left in_it HERE_they will_be_like_all_of the_multitude_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) which they_have_come_to_an_end and_let_us_send so_that_we_may_see.
14 And_they_took two_of chariot[s] horses and_he_sent_them the_king after the_camp_of ʼArām to_say go and_see.

17 And_the_king he_appointed DOM the_officer whom he_was_leaning on his/its_hand over the_gate and_they_trampled_him the_people in_gate and_he/it_died just_as he_had_spoken the_man_of the_ʼElohīm who he_spoke when_came_down the_king to_him/it.
18 And_he/it_was as_had_spoken the_man_of the_ʼElohīm to the_king to_say two_seahs barley(s) for_a_shekel and_a_seah fine_flour for_a_shekel it_will_be about_time tomorrow in_the_gate_of Shomrōn.
19 And_he_had_answered the_officer DOM the_man_of the_ʼElohīm and_he_said and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE YHWH is_making windows in_heavens will_it_happen according_the_manner the_this and_he/it_said here_you are_about_to_see with_your_two’s_own_of_eyes and_from_there not you_will_eat.
20 And_he/it_was to_him/it thus and_they_trampled DOM_him/it the_people in_gate and_he/it_died.
