5 Go _ backand _ say to Ḩizqiyyāh the _ rulerpeople _ my thus he _ saysYHWH the _ godof _ DāvidI _ will_ show_ you(ms) I _ have_ heardDOM prayer _ your I _ have_ seenDOM tears _ your see _ I [am] _ about_ to_ healto/for _ you(fs) in _ the_ day the _ third you _ will_ go_ upthe _ houseof _ YHWH 6 And _ add to life _ your fif- teen year[s] and _ from _ hand of _ the_ kingof _ ʼAshshūrdeliver _ you and _ DOM the _ city the _ this and _ defend (on) the _ city the _ this for _ sake_ my and _ for _ the_ sake_ ofDāvid servant _ my .
7 And _ he/it _ saidYə shaˊyāh /(Isaiah) take a _ cakeof _ figsand _ they _ tookand _ applied on the _ boil and _ recovered .
8 And _ he/it _ saidḨizqiyyāh to Yə shaˊyāh what [will _ be_ the]_ sign(cmp) he _ will_ healYHWH to _ me and _ go _ upin _ the_ day the _ third the _ houseof _ YHWH 9 And _ he/it _ saidYə shaˊyāh this to _ you the _ sign from YHWH (cmp) he _ will_ doYHWH DOM the _ thing which he _ has_ spokenit _ has_ gonethe _ shadow ten steps or will _ it_ go_ backten steps .
10 And _ he/it _ saidḨizqiyyāh it _ is_ triflingfor _ the_ shadow to _ lengthen ten steps no if/because let _ it_ go_ backthe _ shadow backwards ten steps .
11 And _ he/it _ calledYə shaˊyāh the _ prophet to YHWH and _ brought DOM the _ shadow in/on/at/with _ steps which it _ had_ gone_ downin/on/at/with _ stairway of _ ʼĀḩāzbackwards ten steps .
12 in/on/at/with _ time the _ that he _ sentMə rodak- Balʼₐdān the _ sonof _ Balʼₐdān the _ kingof _ Bāⱱelletters and _ gift to Ḩizqiyyāh if/because he _ had_ heardif/because _ thathe _ had_ been_ sickḨizqiyyāh .

14 And _ came Yə shaˊyāh /(Isaiah) the _ prophet to the _ king Ḩizqiyyāh and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it what did _ they_ saythe _ men the _ these and _ from _ where are _ they_ comingto _ you and _ he/it _ saidḨizqiyyāh from _ country distant they _ have_ comefrom _ Bāⱱel .
