17 in _ year two _ plusten of _ ʼĀḩāz the _ kingof _ Yə hūdāhhe _ became_ kingHōshēˊa the _ sonof _ ʼĒlāhin/on/at/with _ Shomrōn over Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) nine years .
2 And _ he/it _ madethe _ evil in/on _ both _ eyes_ ofYHWH only not like _ kings of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)who they _ werebefore _ face/front _ him .
3 On/upon/above _ him/it he _ came_ upShalmanʼeşer the _ kingof _ ʼAshshūrand _ he/it _ wasto _ him/it Hōshēˊa subject and _ paid to _ him/it tribute .
4 And _ found the _ kingof _ ʼAshshūrin/on/at/with _ Hōshēˊa treason that he _ had_ sentmessengers to Şōʼ the _ kingof _ Miʦrayim/(Egypt)and _ not he _ had_ brought_ uptribute to _ king of _ ʼAshshūras _ year in _ year and _ arrested _ him the _ kingof _ ʼAshshūrand _ bound _ him a _ houseof _ imprisonment5 And _ he/it _ ascendedthe _ kingof _ ʼAshshūrin _ all the _ earth/land and _ he/it _ ascendedShomrōn and _ he/it _ laid_ siegeon/upon _ it(f) three years .
6 In _ year the _ ninth of _ Hōshēˊa he _ capturedthe _ kingof _ ʼAshshūrDOM Shomrōn and _ deported DOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) ʼAshshūr _ to and _ settled DOM _ them in/on/at/with _ Ḩₐlaḩ and _ in/on/at/with _ Ḩāⱱōr the _ riverof _ Gōzānand _ cities of _ Māday7 and _ he/it _ wasif/because they _ had_ sinnedthe _ peopleof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to/for _ YHWH god _ their the _ brought _ upDOM _ them out _ of_ land of _ Miʦrayimfrom _ under the _ handof _ Farˊohthe _ kingof _ Miʦrayimand _ feared gods other .
8 And _ walked in/on/at/with _ customs the _ nations which he _ had_ dispossessedYHWH from _ face/in _ front_ ofthe _ peopleof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)and _ kings of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)which they _ had_ done9 And _ secretly _ didthe _ peopleof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)things which [were] _ notright on YHWH god _ their and _ built to/for _ them high _ placesin _ all towns _ their from _ tower _ ofwatchmen unto a _ cityof _ fortification10 And _ set _ upto/for _ them sacred _ pillarsand _ ʼₐshērāh _ poleson every hill high and _ under every tree luxuriant .
11 And _ burned _ incensethere in _ all [the] _ high_ placesas _ the_ nations which he _ had_ taken_ into_ exileYHWH from _ their _ face/front and _ did things evil to _ provoking _ toangerDOM YHWH 12 And _ served the _ idols which he _ had_ saidYHWH to/for _ them not you _ all_ must_ doDOM the _ thing the _ this .
13 And _ warned YHWH in/on/at/with _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ in/on/at/with _ Yə hūdāh/(Judah) in/on/at/with _ hand of _ everymmm [fn ] every seer to _ say turn _ backfrom _ ways _ your _ all’sthe _ evil and _ keep commandments _ my statutes _ my according _ to_ all the _ law which I _ commandedDOM ancestors _ your _ all’sand _ which I _ sentto _ you _ allin/on/at/with _ hand servants _ my the _ prophets .
14 And _ not they _ listenedand _ stiffened DOM necks _ their like _ necks ancestors _ their who not they _ trustedin/on/at/with _ LORD god _ their .
15 And _ rejected DOM statutes _ his and _ DOM covenant _ his which he _ had_ madewith ancestors _ their and _ DOM warnings _ his which he _ warnedin/on/at/with _ them and _ went [fn ] after the _ worthless _ idolsand _ became _ vainand _ after the _ nations which around _ them which he _ had_ commandedYHWH DOM _ them to _ not to _ doas _ they .
16 And _ abandoned DOM all the _ commandmentsof _ YHWH god _ their and _ they _ madeto/for _ them a _ molten_ imagetwo [fn ] calves and _ they _ madean _ ʼAshērāh_ poleand _ worshiped to/from _ all/each/any/every the _ hostthe _ heavens and _ served DOM the _ Baˊal .
17 And _ pass DOM sons _ their and _ DOM daughters _ their in/on/at/with _ fire and _ used divinations and _ augury and _ sold for _ doing the _ evil in/on _ both _ eyes_ ofYHWH to _ provoking _ toanger_ him .
18 And _ angry YHWH very in/on/at/with _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ removed _ them from _ under his/its _ faces/face not anyone _ was_ leftonly the _ tribeof _ Yə hūdāh/(Judah)for _ him/it _ being _ alone19 Also Yə hūdāh not it _ keptDOM the _ commandmentsof _ YHWH god _ their and _ walked in/on/at/with _ customs of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)which they _ had_ done20 And _ rejected YHWH in _ all the _ offspringof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)and _ punished _ them and _ gave _ them in/on/at/with _ hand of _ plunderersuntil that banished _ them from _ presence _ his .
21 If/because he _ toreYisrāʼēl /(Israel) from _ under the _ houseof _ Dāvidand _ made _ kingDOM Yārāⱱə ˊām/(Jeroboam) the _ sonof _ Neⱱaţand _ drove [fn ] Yārāⱱə ˊām DOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) from _ following YHWH and _ commit _ them [fn ] a _ singreat .
22 And _ walked the _ peopleof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)in _ all the _ sinsof _ Yārāⱱə ˊāmwhich he _ didnot they _ turned_ asidefrom _ them .
23 Until that he _ removedYHWH DOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) from _ under his/its _ faces/face just _ as he _ had_ spokenin/on/at/with _ hand of _ allservants _ his the _ prophets and _ exiled Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) from _ under land _ their ʼAshshūr _ to until the _ day the _ this .
24 and _ he/it _ broughtthe _ kingof _ ʼAshshūrfrom _ Bāⱱel and _ from _ Kūt/(Cuthah) and _ from _ Avva and _ from _ Ḩₐmāt and _ Şə farvayimand _ settled in/on/at/with _ cities of _ Shomrōnin _ place_ ofthe _ peopleof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)and _ took _ possession_ ofDOM Shomrōn and _ they _ livedin/on/at/with _ cities _ its .
25 And _ he/it _ wasin/on/at/with _ first living _ they there not they _ fearedDOM YHWH and _ sent YHWH (is) _ in_ them DOM the _ lions and _ they _ werekilling in/on/at/with _ them .
26 And _ they _ saidto _ king of _ ʼAshshūrto _ say the _ nations which you _ took_ into_ exileand _ placed in/on/at/with _ cities of _ Shomrōnnot they _ knowDOM the _ customof _ the_ godthe _ earth/land and _ sent in/on/at/with _ them DOM the _ lions and _ see _ they [are] _ killingDOM _ them just _ as not _ they [are] _ knowingDOM the _ customof _ the_ godthe _ earth/land .
27 And _ he/it _ commandedthe _ kingof _ ʼAshshūrto _ say take there _ to one of _ the _ priests whom you _ all_ took_ into_ exilefrom _ there and _ go and _ live there and _ teach _ them DOM the _ customof _ the_ godthe _ earth/land .
28 And _ came one of _ the _ priests whom they _ had_ taken_ into_ exilefrom _ Shomrōn and _ he/it _ sat_ down//remained//livedin _ house _ ofel and _ he/it _ wasteaching DOM _ them how will _ they_ fearDOM YHWH 29 And _ they _ weremaking nation nation his/its _ god and _ put in _ house _ ofthe _ high _ placeswhich they _ had_ madethe _ Shomrōn nation nation in/on/at/with _ cities _ their where they [were] _ dwellingthere .
30 And _ men of _ Bāⱱelthey _ madeDOM ukkōt Benoth and _ men of _ Kūt/(Cuthah)they _ madeDOM Nērə ggal and _ men of _ Ḩₐmāt they _ madeDOM ʼAshimāʼ .
31 And _ the _ Avvites they _ madeNiⱱḩaz and _ DOM Tartāq and _ the _ Şə farvī[were] _ burningDOM children _ their in/on/at/with _ fire to _ ʼAdrammelek and _ ˊAnammelek the _ gods[fn ] of _ Şə farvayim[fn ] .
32 And _ they _ werefearing DOM YHWH and _ they _ madeto/for _ them from _ among _ themselves priests of _ [the]_ high_ placesand _ they _ wereoffering to/for _ them in _ house _ ofthe _ high _ places33 DOM YHWH they _ werefearing and _ DOM gods _ their _ ownthey _ wereserving according _ to_ customs the _ nations which people _ had_ taken_ into_ exileDOM _ them from _ there .
34 Until the _ day the _ this they [are] _ doingaccording _ to_ the_ customs the _ former not _ they [are] _ fearingDOM YHWH and _ not _ they [are] _ doingfollow _ statutes _ their and _ to _ ordinances _ their and _ to _ the_ law and _ to _ the_ commandments which he _ commandedYHWH DOM the _ descendantsof _ Yaˊₐqoⱱ/(Jacob) whom he _ madehis/its _ name Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
35 And _ made YHWH with _ them a _ covenantand _ commanded _ them to _ say not you _ all_ must_ feargods other and _ not you _ all_ must_ bow_ downto/for _ them and _ not serve _ them and _ not you _ all_ must_ sacrificeto/for _ them .
36 If/because (if) DOM YHWH who he _ brought_ upDOM _ you _ allfrom _ land of _ Miʦrayim/(Egypt)in/on/at/with _ power great and _ in/on/at/with _ arm outstretched DOM _ him/it you _ all_ will_ fearand _ to/for _ him/it you _ all_ will_ bow_ downand _ to/for _ him/it you _ all_ will_ sacrifice37 And _ DOM the _ statutes and _ DOM the _ ordinances and _ the _ law and _ the _ commandment which he _ wroteto/for _ you _ allobserve for _ doing all the _ days and _ not you _ all_ must_ feargods other .
38 And _ the _ covenant which I _ madewith _ you _ allnot you _ all_ must_ forgetand _ not you _ all_ must_ feargods other .
39 If/because (if) DOM YHWH god _ your _ all’syou _ all_ will_ fearand _ he he _ will_ deliverDOM _ you _ allfrom _ hand of _ allenemies _ your _ all’s40 And _ not they _ listenedif/because (if) according _ to_ custom _ their the _ former they [were] _ doing41 And _ they _ werethe _ nations the _ these fearing DOM YHWH and _ DOM idols _ their they _ wereserving also children _ their and _ the _ sonschildren’s _ their just _ as they _ didfathers _ their they [are] _ doinguntil the _ day the _ this .
