23 And _ sent the _ king and _ gathered to _ him/it all _ ofthe _ elders_ ofYə hūdāh and _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) .
2 And _ he/it _ ascendedthe _ king the _ house_ ofYHWH and _ all (the) _ person_ ofYə hūdāh and _ all the _ inhabitants_ ofYə rūshālam with _ him/it and _ the _ priests and _ the _ prophets and _ all the _ people to _ from _ small and _ unto [the] _ greatand _ he/it _ calledin/on/at/with _ hearing _ of_ their DOM all _ ofthe _ words_ ofthe _ scroll_ ofthe _ covenant the _ found in _ house _ ofYHWH 3 And _ stood the _ king at the _ pillar and _ made DOM the _ covenant to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYHWH to _ go after YHWH and _ to _ keep commands _ of_ his and _ DOM decrees _ of_ his and _ DOM statutes _ of_ his in _ all [the] _ heartand _ on/over _ all [the] _ beingto _ carry _ outDOM the _ words_ ofthe _ covenant the _ this the _ written on the _ book the _ this and _ all _ of_ joined the _ people in/on/at/with _ covenant .
4 And _ he/it _ commandedthe _ king DOM Ḩilqiyyāh the _ priest/officer the _ high and _ DOM the _ priests_ ofthe _ second and _ DOM the _ keepers_ ofthe _ threshold to _ bring _ outof _ temple _ ofof _ YHWH DOM all _ ofthe _ vessels the _ made for _ the_ Baˊal and _ for _ the_ ʼₐshērāh and _ to/for _ all the _ host_ ofthe _ heavens and _ burned _ them at _ outside of _ Yə rūshālam in/on/at/with _ fields _ ofQidrōn and _ carried DOM ashes _ of_ their Bēyt- el .
5 And _ did _ away_ withDOM the _ idolatrous _ priestswhom they _ had_ appointedthe _ kings_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ burn _ incensein/on/at/with _ high _ placesin/on/at/with _ cities _ ofYə hūdāh and _ around _ ofYə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) and _ DOM the _ burned _ incenseto _ the_ Baˊal to _ the_ sun and _ to _ the_ moon and _ to _ the_ constellations and _ to/for _ all the _ host_ ofthe _ heavens .
6 And _ brought _ outDOM the _ ʼₐshērāh _ polefrom _ house _ ofYHWH at _ outside of _ Yə rūshālam to the _ wadi_ ofQidrōn and _ burned DOM _ her/it in/on/at/with _ brook _ ofQidrōn and _ beat to _ dust and _ threw DOM dust _ of_ its on the _ burial_ site_ ofthe _ sons_ ofthe _ people .
7 And _ tore _ downDOM the _ houses_ ofthe _ male _ cult_ prostituteswhich in _ house _ ofYHWH where the _ women [were] _ weavingthere houses for _ the_ ʼₐshērāh .
8 And _ he/it _ broughtDOM all _ ofthe _ priests from _ cities _ ofYə hūdāh and _ defiled DOM the _ high _ placeswhere they _ had_ made_ smokewhere _ at the _ priests from _ Geⱱaˊ to Bə ʼēr Sheⱱaˊ and _ broke _ downDOM the _ high_ places_ ofthe _ gates which [were _ at]_ the_ entrance_ ofthe _ gate_ ofYə hōshūˊa/(Joshua) the _ governor_ ofthe _ city which [was] _ at[the] _ left_ sideanyone in/on/at/with _ gate _ ofthe _ city .
9 Nevertheless not they _ went_ upthe _ priests_ ofthe _ high _ placesto the _ altar_ ofYHWH in/on/at/with _ Yə rūshālam if/because (if) they _ ateunleavened _ bread(s)in _ the_ middle fellow _ of_ their .
10 And _ defiled DOM the _ Tofet which [was] _ in_ the_ valley_ of_ the_ sons_ of_ Hinnom_ [was] _ in_ the_ valley_ of_ BenHinnom [fn ] [was] _ in_ the_ valley_ of_ Bento _ not to _ pass anyone DOM his/its _ son and _ DOM daughter _ of_ his in/on/at/with _ fire to _ the_ Molek .
11 And _ removed DOM the _ horses which they _ had_ dedicatedthe _ kings_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) to _ the_ sun at _ entrance of _ the_ house_ ofof _ YHWH at the _ room_ ofNātān the _ eunuch which in/on/at/with _ precincts and _ DOM the _ chariots_ ofthe _ sun he _ burnedin/on/at/with _ fire .
12 And the _ altars which [were] _ onthe _ roof the _ upper_ room_ ofʼĀḩāz which they _ had_ madethe _ kings_ ofYə hūdāh and _ DOM the _ altars which Mə nashsheh he _ had_ madein/on/at/with _ two _ ofthe _ courtyards_ ofthe _ house_ ofYHWH he _ pulled_ downthe _ king and _ smashed from _ there and _ threw DOM dust _ of_ their into the _ wadi_ ofQidrōn .
13 And _ DOM the _ high _ placeswhich [were] _ onthe _ face_ ofYə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) which on _ south _ ofmount _ ofthe _ destruction which Shə lomoh he _ had_ builtthe _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) for _ ˊAshtoret the _ detestable_ thing_ of[the] _ Tsīdonī/(Sidonians)and _ for _ Kə mōsh/(Chemosh) the _ detestable_ thing_ ofMōʼāⱱ and _ for _ Malkām the _ abomination_ ofthe _ people_ ofˊAmmōn he _ made_ uncleanthe _ king .
14 And _ broke _ in_ piecesDOM the _ sacred _ pillarsand _ cut _ downDOM the _ ʼₐshērāh _ polesand _ covered DOM sites _ of_ their bones _ ofhumankind .
15 And _ also DOM the _ altar which in _ house _ ofel the _ high _ placewhich he _ had_ madeYārāⱱə ˊām/(Jeroboam) the _ son_ ofNeⱱaţ who he _ caused_ to_ sinDOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) also DOM the _ altar (the) _ that and _ DOM the _ high _ placehe _ tore_ downand _ burned DOM the _ high _ placehe _ pulverized_ [it]to _ dust and _ burned [the] _ ʼAshērāh_ pole16 And _ Yʼoshiyyāh /(Josiah) _ turned and _ he/it _ sawDOM the _ tombs which [were] _ therein/on/at/with _ mountain and _ sent and _ he/it _ tookDOM the _ bones from the _ tombs and _ burned on the _ altar and _ defiled _ it according _ to_ word _ ofYHWH which he _ had_ proclaimedthe _ man_ ofthe _ ʼElohīm who he _ proclaimedDOM the _ things the _ these .
17 And _ he/it _ saidwhat the _ monument this which I [am] _ seeingand _ they _ saidto _ him/it the _ people_ ofthe _ city the _ tomb the _ man_ ofthe _ ʼElohīm who he _ camefrom _ Yə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ he/it _ calledDOM the _ things the _ these which you _ have_ doneon the _ altar _ ofBēyt- el .
18 And _ he/it _ saidleave _ aloneto _ him/it anyone not let _ him_ disturbbones _ of_ his and _ left _ undisturbedbones _ of_ his with the _ bones_ ofthe _ prophet who he _ had_ comefrom _ Shomrōn .
19 And _ also DOM all _ ofthe _ houses_ ofthe _ high _ placeswhich in/on/at/with _ towns _ ofShomrōn which the _ kings_ ofthey _ had_ madeof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to _ provoking _ toangerYʼoshiyyāh he _ removedand _ he/it _ madeto/for _ them just _ as_ all _ ofthe _ things which he _ had_ donein _ house _ ofel .
20 And _ he/it _ sacrificedDOM all _ ofthe _ priests_ ofthe _ high _ placeswho [were] _ thereon the _ altars and _ burned DOM bones _ ofhumankind on _ them and _ returned Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) .
21 And _ he/it _ commandedthe _ king DOM all _ ofthe _ people to _ say observe a _ passoverto/for _ YHWH god _ of_ your _ all’sas _ the_ written on the _ scroll_ ofthe _ covenant the _ this .
22 If/because not it _ had_ been_ observedlike _ a_ passover the _ this from _ days _ ofthe _ judges who they _ judgedDOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ all/each/any/every the _ days_ ofthe _ kings_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ kings _ ofYə hūdāh .
23 If/because (if) in/on/at/with _ eight teen year to/for _ the _ kingYʼoshiyyāh /(Josiah) it _ was_ observedthe _ passover the _ this to/for _ YHWH in/on/at/with _ Yə rūshālam .
24 And _ also DOM the _ mediums and _ DOM the _ spiritists and _ DOM the _ household _ godsand _ DOM the _ idols and _ DOM all _ ofthe _ abominations which they _ were_ seenin _ land of _ Yə hūdāh/(Judah)and _ in/on/at/with _ Yə rūshālam Yʼoshiyyāh he _ removedso _ asto _ carry_ outDOM the _ words_ ofthe _ law the _ written on the _ book which Ḩilqiyyāh he _ had_ foundthe _ priest/officer the _ house_ ofYHWH 25 And _ like _ him not he _ had_ beenbefore _ face/front _ him a _ kingwho he _ turned_ backto YHWH in _ all heart _ of_ his and _ on/over _ all soul _ of_ his and _ on/over _ all might _ of_ his according _ to_ all _ ofthe _ law_ ofMosheh and _ after _ him not he _ aroselike _ him .
26 Nevertheless not YHWH he _ turned_ backfrom _ fury _ ofanger _ of_ his the _ great which anger _ of_ his it _ burnedin/on/at/with _ Yə hūdāh on all _ ofthe _ provocations which provoked _ him Mə nashsheh .
27 And _ YHWH _ he/it _ saidalso DOM Yə hūdāh I _ will_ removefrom _ under sight _ of_ my just _ as I _ removedDOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ reject DOM the _ city the _ this which I _ choseDOM Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) and _ DOM the _ house which I _ saidit _ will_ bename _ of_ my there .
28 And _ rest _ ofthe _ matters_ ofYʼoshiyyāh /(Josiah) and _ all that he _ didnot [are] _ theywritten on the _ scroll_ ofthe _ matters_ ofthe _ days of _ kings _ ofof _ Yə hūdāh29 In/on/at/with _ days _ of_ his Parˊoh he _ went_ upNə koh the _ king_ ofMiʦrayim/(Egypt) on the _ king_ ofʼAshshūr to the _ river_ ofFə rāt and _ he/it _ wentthe _ king Yʼoshiyyāh to _ meet _ him and _ killed _ him in/on/at/with _ Mə giddō when _ saw _ he DOM _ him/it .
30 And _ carried _ ina_ chariot_ him servants _ of_ his dead from _ Mə giddō and _ brought _ him Yə rūshālam and _ buried _ him in/on/at/with _ tomb _ of_ his _ ownand _ the _ people_ of_ he/it _ tookthe _ earth/land DOM Yə hōʼāḩāz/(Jehoahaz) the _ son_ ofYʼoshiyyāh and _ anointed DOM _ him/it and _ made _ kingDOM _ him/it in _ place_ ofhis/its _ father .
31 [was] _ a_ son_ oftwenty and _ three year[s] Yə hōʼāḩāz in/on/at/with _ became _ king_ he and _ three months he _ reignedin/on/at/with _ Yə rūshālam and _ name _ ofhis/its _ mother [was] _ Ḩₐmūţal the _ daughter_ ofYirmə yāh /(Jeremiah) from _ Liⱱnāh .
32 And _ he/it _ madethe _ evil in/on _ both _ eyes_ ofYHWH according _ to_ all that they _ had_ doneancestors _ of_ his .
33 And _ confined _ him Parˊoh Nə koh in/on/at/with _ Riⱱlāh in _ land of _ Ḩₐmāt in/on/at/with _ reign [fn ] [fn ] in/on/at/with _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) and _ imposed a _ fineon the _ earth/land one _ hundredtalent[s] _ ofsilver and _ talent _ ofgold .
34 And _ Parˊoh _ made _ kingNə koh DOM ʼElyāqīm the _ son_ ofYʼoshiyyāh /(Josiah) in _ place_ ofYʼoshiyyāh his/its _ father and _ changed DOM his/its _ name Yə hōyāqīm/(Jehoiakim) and _ DOM Yə hōʼāḩāz he _ tookand _ brought Miʦrayim/(Egypt) and _ he/it _ diedthere .
35 And _ the _ silver and _ the _ gold Yə hōyāqīm he _ gaveto _ Parˊoh only he _ taxedDOM the _ earth/land to _ give DOM the _ money on the _ mouth_ ofParˊoh each according _ to_ assessment _ of_ his he _ exactedDOM the _ silver and _ DOM the _ gold DOM the _ people_ ofthe _ earth/land to _ give to _ Parˊoh Nə koh .
36 [was] _ a_ son_ oftwenty and _ five year[s] Yə hōyāqīm in/on/at/with _ became _ king_ he and _ one _ often year[s] he _ reignedin/on/at/with _ Yə rūshālam and _ name _ ofhis/its _ mother [was] _ Zebudah[fn ] the _ daughter_ ofPə dāyāh from Rūmāh .
37 And _ he/it _ madethe _ evil in/on _ both _ eyes_ ofYHWH according _ to_ all that they _ had_ doneancestors _ of_ his .
