16 in_year seven- teen year of_Fəqaḩ^yāh the _son _of Rəmal^yāhū ʼĀḩāz he _became _king the _son _of Yōtām the _king _of Yəhūdāh.

2 was_a _son _of twenty year[s] ʼĀḩāz when_he_became _king and_six- teen year[s] he _reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_not he _did the_right in/on_both _eyes _of YHWH his/its_god like_Dāvid his/its_father.

3 And_he/it _went in_the _way _of the _kings _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_also DOM his/its_son he _made _pass in_fire according_to _the _abominations _of the_nations which he _had _dispossessed YHWH DOM_them from_face/in _front _of the _people _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).

4 And_he _sacrificed and_he _made _smoke at_places and_on the_hills and_under every _of tree luxuriant.

5 Then Rəʦīn he _came _up the _king _of ʼArām and_Fəqaḩ^yāh the _son _of Rəmal^yāhū the _king _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) for_battle and_they _laid _siege on ʼĀḩāz and_not they _were _able to_do _battle.

6 At_time (the)_that Rəʦīn he _restored the _king _of ʼArām DOM ʼĒylōt to_ʼArām and_he _cleared _out DOM the_Yəhūdī/(Judeans) from_ʼĒylōt and_ʼEdōmites[fn][fn] they _came ʼĒylōt and_they _lived there until the_day (the)_this.

7 and_ ʼĀḩāz _he _sent messengers to Tiglat pilʼeşer the _king _of ʼAshshūr servant _of_am_your to_say and_son _of_your I come _up and_deliver_me from_the _palm _of the _king _of ʼArām and_from_the _palm _of the _king _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) who_are_rising _up on_me.

8 And_ ʼĀḩāz _he/it _took DOM the_silver and_DOM the_gold which_ the _house _of _was_found of_YHWH and_in_the _treasuries _of the _house _of the_king and_he _sent_it to_the _king _of ʼAshshūr a _gift.

10 And_he/it _went the_king ʼĀḩāz to_ Tiglat _meet pilʼeşer the _king _of ʼAshshūr Dammeseq and_he/it _saw DOM the_altar which was_in_Dammeseq and_he _sent the_king ʼĀḩāz to Uriah the_priest/officer DOM the _likeness _of the _altar and_DOM pattern _of_its to/from_all/each/any/every work _of_its.

11 And_ Uriah _he/it _built the_priest/officer DOM the_altar according_to _all that he _had _sent the_king ʼĀḩāz from_Dammeseq so Uriah he _did the_priest/officer until came the_king ʼĀḩāz from_Dammeseq.

12 And_he _came the_king from_Dammeseq and_he/it _saw the_king DOM the_altar and_he _drew _near the_king to the_altar and_he/it _ascended on/upon/above_him/it.

13 And_he _made _smoke DOM offering _of_his _burnt and_DOM his/its_donation/offering and_he _poured _out DOM offering _of_his _drink and_he _sprinkled DOM the _blood _of the _peace _offerings which to_him/it on the_altar.

14 And_DOM the_altar _of the_bronze which to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before YHWH and_he _brought _near from_with the _face _of the _house from_between the_altar and_from_between the _house _of YHWH and_he/it _gave DOM_him/it on the _side _of the _altar northward_to.

15 And_he _commanded[fn] the_king ʼĀḩāz DOM Uriah the_priest/officer to_say on the_altar (the)_great make _smoke DOM the _burnt _offering _of the _morning and_DOM the _grain _offering _of the _evening and_DOM the _burnt _offering _of the_king and_DOM his/its_donation/offering and_DOM the _burnt _offering _of all _of the _people _of the_earth/land and_their _grain _of_offering and_their _drink _of_offerings and_all the_blood _of the_burnt _offering and_all the_blood _of the_sacrifice on/upon/above_him/it you _will _sprinkle and_the _altar _of (the)_bronze it _will _belong to/for_me to_consult.

16 And_ Uriah _he/it _made the_priest/officer according_to _all that he _commanded the_king ʼĀḩāz.

17 And_he _cut _off the_king ʼĀḩāz DOM the_rims the_stands and_he _removed from_on_them and[fn] the_laver and_DOM the_sea he _took _down from_under the_ox[en] the_bronze which were_under_it and_he/it _gave DOM_him/it on a _pavement _of stone(s).

18 And_DOM the _covered _structure _of[fn] of_the _sabbath which people _had _built in_house and_DOM the _entrance _of the_king (the)_outer_to he _removed the _house _of YHWH from_face/in _front _of the _king _of ʼAshshūr.

19 And_the _rest _of the _matters _of ʼĀḩāz which he _did not are_they written on the _scroll _of the _matters _of the_days of_the _kings _of of _Yəhūdāh/(Judah).

20 And_ ʼĀḩāz _he _lay _down with ancestors _of_his and_he _was _buried with ancestors _of_his in_the _city _of Dāvid and_ Ḩizqiy^yāh _he _became _king son _of_his in_place _of _him.
