10 and _ had _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ seventy sons in/on/at/with _ Shomrōn and _ Yēhūʼ/(Jehu) _ wrote letters and _ sent Shomrōn to the _ officials_ ofYizrə ˊʼēl /(Jezreel) the _ elders and _ near/to the _ guardians ʼAḩʼāⱱ to _ say .
2 And _ now when _ comes the _ letter the _ this to _ you _ alland _ with _ you _ allthe _ sons_ ofmaster’s _ of_ your _ all’sand _ with _ you _ allthe _ chariots and _ the _ horses and _ city _ offortification and _ the _ weapons .
3 And _ select the _ best and _ the _ fittest from _ (the) _ sonsmaster’s _ of_ your _ all’sand _ set on the _ throne_ ofhis/its _ father and _ fight on the _ house_ ofmaster’s _ of_ your _ all’s4 And _ they _ sawvery very and _ they _ saidthere the _ two_ ofthe _ kings not they _ stoodbefore _ face/front _ him and _ how will _ we_ standwe .
5 And _ sent [the _ one]_ who[was] _ overthe _ palace and _ which [was] _ overthe _ city and _ the _ elders and _ the _ guardians to Yēhūʼ your _ servants to _ say we and _ all/each/any/every that you _ will_ sayto _ us we _ will_ donot we _ will_ make_ kinganyone the _ good in/on/at/with _ eyes _ of_ you do .
6 And _ wrote to _ them a _ lettersecond to _ say if to _ me you _ alland _ to _ voice _ of_ me you _ all[are] _ listeningtake DOM the _ heads_ ofthe _ men_ ofthe _ sons_ ofmaster’s _ of_ your _ all’sand _ come to _ me at _ this_ time tomorrow Yizrə ˊʼēl /(Jezreel) _ at and _ the _ sonsthe _ king seventy man [were] _ withthe _ great_ [people]_ ofthe _ city [who _ were]_ bringing_ upDOM _ them .
7 And _ he/it _ waswhen _ came the _ letter to _ them and _ they _ tookDOM the _ sons_ ofthe _ king and _ slaughtered seventy man and _ put DOM heads _ of_ their in/on/at/with _ baskets and _ sent to _ him/it Yizrə ˊʼēl /(Jezreel) _ at .
8 And _ came the _ messenger and _ told to _ him/it to _ say they _ have_ broughtthe _ heads_ ofthe _ sons_ ofthe _ king and _ he/it _ saidmake DOM _ them two _ ofheaps the _ entrance_ ofthe _ gate until the _ morning .
9 And _ he/it _ wasin/on/at/with _ morning and _ he/it _ went_ outand _ stood and _ he/it _ saidto all _ ofthe _ people [are] _ righteousyou _ allhere I I _ conspiredon my _ master and _ killed _ him and _ who did _ he_ strike_ downDOM all _ ofthese .
10 Know then if/because _ thatnot it _ will_ fallof _ word _ ofof _ YHWH towards _ land which he _ has_ spokenYHWH on the _ house_ ofʼAḩʼāⱱ and _ LORD he _ has_ doneDOM [that] _ whichhe _ spokein/on/at/with _ hand _ ofservant _ of_ his ʼĒliyyāh .
11 And _ killed Yēhūʼ/(Jehu) DOM all _ ofthe _ remained of _ house _ ofof _ ʼAḩʼāⱱin/on/at/with _ Yizrə ˊʼēl /(Jezreel) and _ all great _ of_ his and _ close _ friends_ of_ his and _ priests _ of_ his until not left to _ him/it a _ survivor12 And _ he/it _ rose_ upand _ went and _ he/it _ wentShomrōn he [was _ at]_ BēytEked _ ofthe _ Shepherdsin/on/at/with _ way .
13 And _ Yēhūʼ he _ foundDOM the _ brothers_ ofʼAḩazyāh the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ he/it _ saidwho [are] _ you_ alland _ they _ said[are] _ the_ brothers_ ofʼAḩazyāh we and _ come _ downto _ greet _ ofthe _ sons_ ofthe _ king and _ the _ sonsthe _ queen _ mother14 And _ he/it _ saidtake _ them alive and _ took _ them alive and _ slaughtered _ them to the _ pit_ ofBēyt Eked forty and _ two man and _ not he _ sparedanyone of _ them .
15 and _ he/it _ wentfrom _ there and _ met DOM Yōnādāⱱ/(Jonadab) the _ son_ ofRēkāⱱ to _ meet _ him and _ greeted _ him and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it is with heart _ of_ your right just _ as heart _ of_ mine [is] _ withheart _ of_ you and _ Yōnādāⱱ _ he/it _ saidthere _ [is]and _ it _ isgive DOM hand _ of_ your and _ he/it _ gavehis/its _ hand and _ took _ up_ him to _ him/it into the _ chariot .
16 And _ he/it _ saidcome with _ me and _ see in/on/at/with _ zeal _ of_ my to/for _ YHWH and _ ride DOM _ him/it in/on/at/with _ chariot _ of_ his .
17 And _ came Shomrōn and _ killed DOM all _ ofthe _ remained to _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ in/on/at/with _ Shomrōn until wiped _ out_ them according _ to_ word _ ofYHWH which he _ had_ spokento ʼĒliyyāh .
18 and _ Yēhūʼ/(Jehu) _ assembled DOM all _ ofthe _ people and _ he/it _ saidto _ them ʼAḩʼāⱱ he _ servedDOM the _ Baˊal a _ littleYēhūʼ serve _ him much .
19 And _ now all _ ofthe _ prophets_ ofthe _ Baˊal all _ ofworshipers _ of_ his and _ all priests _ of_ his summon to _ me anyone not let _ him_ be_ missingif/because a _ sacrificegreat to _ me for _ the_ Baˊal any [one] _ whohe _ will_ be_ missingnot he _ will_ liveand _ Yēhūʼ he _ actedin/on/at/with _ cunning so _ asto _ destroyDOM [those _ who]_ serve_ ofthe _ Baˊal .
20 And _ Yēhūʼ _ he/it _ saidconsecrate an _ assemblyfor _ the_ Baˊal and _ proclaimed .
21 And _ Yēhūʼ _ sent in _ all Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ all _ of_ they _ came[those _ who]_ serve_ ofthe _ Baˊal and _ not anyone he _ was_ leftwho not he _ cameand _ they _ camethe _ house_ ofthe _ Baˊal and _ the _ house_ of_ filled the _ Baˊal mouth to _ end .
22 And _ he/it _ saidto _ who [was] _ overthe _ wardrobe bring _ outclothing to _ all/each/any/every [those _ who]_ serve_ ofthe _ Baˊal and _ brought _ outto/for _ them the _ garments .
23 And _ Yēhūʼ _ went _ intoand _ Jehonadab the _ son_ ofRēkāⱱ the _ house_ ofthe _ Baˊal and _ he/it _ saidto _ worshipers _ ofthe _ Baˊal search and _ see lest there _ [be]here with _ you _ allof _ servants _ ofof _ YHWH if/because (if) [those _ who]_ serve_ ofthe _ Baˊal by _ themselves _ of24 And _ they _ camefor _ doing sacrifices and _ burnt _ offeringsand _ Yēhūʼ/(Jehu) he _ had_ stationedto _ him/it in/on/at/with _ outside eighty man and _ he/it _ saidthe _ man who he _ will_ escapefrom the _ men whom I [am] _ bringingon hands _ of_ your _ all’slife _ of_ his in _ place_ oflife _ of_ his .
25 And _ he/it _ wasas _ soon_ as_ finished _ he for _ doing the _ burnt _ offeringand _ Yēhūʼ _ he/it _ saidto _ the_ guards and _ to _ the_ officers go kill _ them anyone not let _ him_ come_ outand _ struck _ down_ them with _ edge _ of[the] _ swordand _ threw _ outthe _ guards and _ the _ officers and _ went to the _ city_ ofthe _ house_ ofthe _ Baˊal .
26 And _ brought _ outDOM the _ sacred_ pillars_ ofthe _ house_ ofthe _ Baˊal and _ burned _ it .
27 And _ demolished DOM the _ sacred_ pillar_ ofthe _ Baˊal and _ destroyed DOM the _ house_ ofthe _ Baˊal and _ made _ it into _ latrine [fn ] until the _ day .
28 And _ Yēhūʼ _ wiped _ outDOM the _ Baˊal from _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
29 Only the _ sins_ ofYārāⱱə ˊām/(Jeroboam) the _ son_ ofNeⱱaţ which he _ caused_ to_ sinDOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) not he _ turned_ asideYēhūʼ from _ after _ these the _ calves_ ofthe _ gold which [were] _ Bēyt-el and _ which in/on/at/with _ Dān .
30 and _ YHWH _ he/it _ saidto Yēhūʼ/(Jehu) because that you _ have_ done_ wellfor _ doing the _ right in/on/at/with _ eyes _ of_ my according _ to_ all that in/on/at/with _ heart _ of_ my you _ have_ doneto _ house _ ofʼAḩʼāⱱ descendants _ ofa _ fourth_ [generation]they _ will_ sitto/for _ yourself(m) on the _ throne_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
31 And _ Yēhūʼ not he _ took_ careto _ go in/on/at/with _ law _ ofYHWH the _ god_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) in _ all heart _ of_ his not he _ turned_ asidefrom _ under the _ sins_ ofYārāⱱə ˊām which he _ caused_ to_ sinDOM Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
32 In _ the_ days the _ those YHWH he _ beganto _ reduce _ the_ sizein/on/at/with _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ defeated _ them Ḩₐzāʼēl in _ all the _ territory_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
33 From the _ Yardēn/(Jordan) the _ rising_ ofthe _ sun DOM all _ ofthe _ land_ ofthe _ Gilˊād the _ Gādītes and _ the _ Rə ʼūⱱēnites and _ the _ Manassites from _ ˊArōˊēr which [is] _ atthe _ wadi_ ofʼArnōn and _ the _ Gilˊād and _ the _ Bāshān .
34 And _ rest _ ofthe _ matters_ ofYēhūʼ and _ all that he _ didand _ all might _ of_ his am _ not [are] _ theywritten on the _ scroll_ ofthe _ matters_ ofthe _ days of _ kings _ ofof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)35 And _ Yēhūʼ _ slept with fathers _ of_ his and _ buried DOM _ him/it in/on/at/with _ Shomrōn and _ Yə hōʼāḩāz/(Jehoahaz) _ became _ kinghis/its _ son in _ place_ his .
36 And _ the _ time which he _ reignedYēhūʼ/(Jehu) over Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) [were] _ twentyand _ eight year[s] in/on/at/with _ Shomrōn .
