BSB § Solomon replied, “You have shown much loving devotion to Your servant, my father David, because he walked before You in faithfulness, righteousness, and uprightness of heart. And You have maintained this loving devotion by giving him a son to sit on his throne this very day.

OEB And Solomon said, ‘Thou hast showed to thy servant David my father great kindness, according as he walked before thee in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast reserved for him this great kindness, in that thou hast given him a son who sits on his throne this day.

WEB Solomon said, “You have shown to your servant David my father great loving kindness, because he walked before you in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with you. You have kept for him this great loving kindness, that you have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

NET Solomon replied, “You demonstrated great loyalty to your servant, my father David, as he served you faithfully, properly, and sincerely. You have maintained this great loyalty to this day by allowing his son to sit on his throne.

LSV And Solomon says, “You have done with Your servant, my father David, great kindness, as he walked before You in truth and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You, and You keep this great kindness for him, and give to him a son sitting on his throne, as [at] this day.

FBV Solomon replied, “You showed your servant David, my father, great trustworthy love because he lived his life before you with faithfulness, doing what was right and committed to principle. You have continued to show this great trustworthy love by giving him a son to sit on his throne to this day.

T4T Solomon replied, “You always greatly and faithfully loved my father David, who served you well. You did that because he ◄was faithful to/faithfully obeyed► you and acted righteously and honestly toward you. And you have showed how greatly and faithfully you loved him by giving to him me, his son, and now I am ruling [MTY] as he did before he died.

LEB Then Solomon said, “You have shown great loyal love with your servant David my father, as he walked before you in faithfulness and in righteousness and in uprightness of heart with you. You have shown for him this great loyal love, and you have given a son to him who is sitting on his throne as it is this day.

BBE And Solomon said, Great was your mercy to David my father, as his life before you was true and upright and his heart was true to you; and you have kept for him this greatest mercy, a son to take his place this day.

CB Salomo saide: Thou hast done greate mercy vnto my father Dauid thy seruaunt. Like as he walked before the in faithfulnes and righteousnes, and in a true hert with the, & this greate mercy hast thou layed vp for him, and geuen him a sonne to syt vpon his seate, as it is now come to passe.

WYC And Salomon seide, Thou hast do greet merci with thi seruaunt Dauid, my fadir, as he yede in thi siyt, in treuthe, and riytfulnesse, and riytful herte with thee; thou hast kepte to hym thi greet merci, and hast youun to hym a sone, sittynge on his trone, as it is to dai.
  (And Salomon said, Thou hast do great mercy with thy/your servant Dauid, my father, as he went in thy/your siyt, in truth, and riytfulnesse, and riytful heart with thee; thou/you hast kepte to him thy/your great merci, and hast given to him a son, sitting on his trone, as it is to day.)

LUT Salomo sprach: Du hast an meinem Vater David, deinem Knechte, große Barmherzigkeit getan, wie er denn vor dir gewandelt hat in Wahrheit und Gerechtigkeit und mit richtigem Herzen vor dir; und hast ihm diese große Barmherzigkeit gehalten und ihm einen Sohn gegeben, der auf seinem Stuhl säße, wie es denn jetzt gehet.
  (Salomo spoke: You hast at my father David, deinem Knechte, large compassion getan, like he because before/in_front_of you gewandelt has in truth and Gerechtigkeit and with richtigem Herzen before/in_front_of dir; and hast him diese large compassion gehalten and him a son gegeben, the on seinem Stuhl säße, like it because jetzt gehet.)

CLV Et ait Salomon: Tu fecisti cum servo tuo David patre meo misericordiam magnam, sicut ambulavit in conspectu tuo in veritate et justitia, et recto corde tecum: custodisti ei misericordiam tuam grandem, et dedisti ei filium sedentem super thronum ejus, sicut est hodie.
  (And he_said Salomon: Tu fecisti when/with servo tuo David patre mine misericordiam magnam, like ambulavit in conspectu tuo in veritate and justitia, and recto corde tecum: custodisti to_him misericordiam tuam grandem, and dedisti to_him filium sedentem super thronum his, like it_is hodie. )

BRN And Solomon said, Thou hast dealt very mercifully with thy servant David my father according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee, and thou hast kept for him this great mercy, to [fn]set his son upon his throne, [fn]as it is this day.
