8:1-36 In Exod 28–29, the Lord gave Moses specific instructions for clothing and for ordaining Aaron and his sons as priests. In Exod 39:1-31; 40:12-16; and Lev 8, the commands were carried out. Moses didn’t just pass along the instructions verbally; he enacted the rituals to provide an example for the priests down to the last detail, just as the Lord had commanded him (8:9, 13, 17, 21, 29). Because the penalty for disobedience was death, God made sure the priests knew exactly what to do.
Note 1 topic: writing-pronouns
וַיִּשְׁחָ֑ט
and,slaughtered
The one who offered a sacrifice would usually slaughter the animal for that sacrifice. However, in this case, even though Moses is offering the sacrifice, the pronoun he likely refers to Aaron, acting together with his sons. If it would be helpful in your language, consider making the referent plain. Alternate translation: “And Aaron and his sons slaughtered it”
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

and,sprinkled Mosheh DOM the,blood on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in the,altar (Some words not found in UHB: and,slaughtered and,sprinkled Mosheh DOM the,blood on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in the,altar on_all_sides )
It is implied that Moses, before he splashed it on the altar, caught the blood in a bowl as the blood drained out from the animal. See how you handled the implied information in the similar expression in 1:5.
