Quod duobus modis facit, quia et eos, qui foris errant, ad fidem vocat; et qui in fide sunt, ut amplius operibus insistant; unde subdit: Deditque prædam domesticis suis. Dat prædam domesticis suis, cum eos, quos diabolus eripuit, eorum societati, qui in fide præcesserunt, conciliat. Dat ancillis suis cibaria, cum humiles quosque, et timore jussa servantes, ne lassescant pio labore, mercedis commemoratione reficit.


31.15 De nocte. Sicut totus præsentis sæculi cursus, etc., usque to and huyusmodi secreto exercere. Surrexit. Since who/any fidelis to agendum proximorum curam sollicite accingitur. That duobus modis facit, because and them, who foris errant, to faith vocat; and who in fide are, as amplius operibus insistant; whence subdit: Deditque prædam domesticis to_his_own. Dat prædam domesticis to_his_own, when/with them, which diabolus eripuit, eorum societati, who in fide præcesserunt, conciliat. Dat ancillis to_his_own cibaria, when/with humiles quosque, and timore yussa servantes, ne lassescant pio labore, mercedis commemoratione reficit.
