18 After these I _ saw another messenger coming _ down out _ of the heaven , having authority great , and the earth was _ illuminated with the glory of _ him .
2 And he _ cried_ out with a _ mighty voice saying :
Fell , fell Babulōn/(Bāⱱel?
) the great .
And it _ became a _ dwelling_ place of _ demons , and a _ prison of _ every spirit unclean , and a _ prison of _ every bird unclean , and having _ been_ hated .
3 Because of the wine of _ the rage of _ the sexual _ immorality of _ her , have _ drunk all the nations , and the kings of _ the earth with her committed _ sexual_ immorality , and the merchants of _ the earth by the power of _ the sensuality of _ her became _ rich .
4 And I _ heard another voice from the heaven saying :
Come _ out the people of _ me out _ of her , in _ order_ that not you _ all_ may_ participate in _ the sins of _ her , and of the plagues of _ her , in _ order_ that not you _ all_ may_ receive , 5 because were _ joined_ together of _ her the sins until the heaven , and remembered the god the wrongs of _ her .
6 Give _ back to _ her as also she gave _ back , and double the double , according _ to the works of _ her , in the cup which she _ mixed , mix to _ her double , 7 as _ much_ as she _ glorified herself and lived _ sensuously , so _ much give to _ her torment and mourning .
Because in the heart of _ her she _ is_ saying , that I _ am_ sitting queen … and a _ widow not I _ am and mourning by _ no_ means not I _ may_ see .
8 Because _ of this , in one day will _ be_ coming the plagues of _ her , death , and mourning , and famine , and with fire she _ will_ be_ being_ burned_ up , because mighty is the _ master the god which having _ judged her .
9 And will _ be_ weeping and will _ be_ mourning for her the kings of _ the earth , which with her having _ committed_ sexual_ immorality and having _ lived_ sensuously , whenever they _ may_ be_ seeing the smoke of _ the burning of _ her , 10 from afar having _ stood , because _ of the fear of _ the torment of _ her saying :
Woe , woe , the city the great Babulōn/(Bāⱱel?
) , the city the strong .
Because in _ one hour came the judgement of _ you .
11 And the merchants of _ the earth are _ weeping and are _ mourning for her , because the cargo of _ them no _ one is _ buying no _ longer , 12 cargo of _ gold , and of _ silver , and of _ stone precious , and of _ pearls , and of _ linen , and of _ purple , and of _ silk , and of _ scarlet , and all wood citron , and every object ivory , and every object of wood most _ precious , and of _ bronze , and of _ iron , and of _ marble , 13 and cinnamon , and amomum , and incenses , and ointment , and frankincense , and wine , and olive _ oil , and fine _ flour , and wheat , and cattle , and sheep , and of _ horses , and of _ carriages , and of _ bodies , and souls of _ humans .
14 And the fruit of _ you of _ the desire of _ the soul went _ away from you , and all the sleek and the splendid destroyed from you , and no _ longer by _ no_ means not them will _ be_ finding .
15 The merchants of _ these which having _ become_ rich , from her from afar will _ be_ standing , because _ of the fear of _ the torment of _ her , weeping and mourning 16 saying :
Woe , woe , the city the great , you having _ been_ clothed in _ linen , and purple , and scarlet , and having _ been_ gilded with gold , and stone precious , and pearl .
17 Because in _ one hour was _ desolated the so _ much riches .
And every captain , and every the to a _ place sailing , and sailors , and as _ many_ as the sea are _ working , from afar stood 18 and they _ cried_ out , seeing the smoke of _ the burning of _ her saying :
What is similar to _ the city the great ?
19 And they _ throw dust on the heads of _ them , and they _ cried_ out , weeping and mourning saying :
Woe , woe , the city the great , in which became _ rich all the having the ships in the sea by the wealth of _ her .
Because in _ one hour she _ was_ desolated .
20 Be _ being_ gladdened over her , heaven , and the holy , and the ambassadors , and the prophets , because judged the god the judgement for _ you_ all by her .
21 And took _ up one messenger a _ stone mighty like stone great , and he _ throw it into the sea saying :
Thus with _ violence will _ be_ being_ thrown Babulōn/(Bāⱱel?
) the great city , and by _ no_ means not it _ may_ be_ found anymore .
22 And the _ sound of _ harpists , and musicians , and flute _ players , and trumpeters , by _ no_ means not may _ be_ heard in you anymore , and every craftsman of _ every craft by _ no_ means not may _ be_ found in you anymore , and the _ sound of _ a _ grinding_ stone by _ no_ means not may _ be_ heard in you anymore , 23 and the _ light of _ lamp by _ no_ means not may _ shine in you anymore , and the _ voice of _ a _ bridegroom and of _ a _ bride by _ no_ means not may _ be_ heard in you anymore , because the merchants of _ you were the magnates of _ the earth , because by the sorcery of _ you were _ deceived all the nations .
24 And in her the _ blood of _ prophets and of _ holy was _ found , and of _ all the having _ been_ slain on the earth .
