5 and_ Shəmū^ʼēl _he/it _said gather DOM all _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) to_(the)_Miʦpāh so_that _I _may _pray for_you(pl) to YHWH.

6 And_they _gathered _together to_(the)_Miʦpāh and_they _drew water and_they _poured_it_out to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before YHWH and_they _fasted in _the_day (the)_that and_they _said there we _have _sinned to/for_YHWH and_ Shəmū^ʼēl _he _judged DOM the _people _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) at_Miʦpāh.

7 And_ the_Fəlishtiy _they _heard if/because _that the _people _of they _had _gathered _together of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) to_(the)_Miʦpāh and_ the _rulers _of _they _went _up the_Fəlishtiy against Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_ the _people _of _they _heard of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_they _saw from_face/in _front _of the_Fəlishtiy.

8 And_ the _people _of _they _said of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) to Shəmū^ʼēl/(Samuel) do _not keep _silent from_him/it from_crying _out to YHWH god _of_our so_that_he _may _deliver _us from_the _hand _of the_Fəlishtiy.

9 And_ Shəmū^ʼēl _he/it _took a _lamb _of milk one and_he[fn] a _burnt _offering a _whole _offering to/for_YHWH and_ Shəmū^ʼēl _he _cried _out to YHWH for Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_he_answered _him YHWH.

10 And_he/it _was Shəmū^ʼēl offering _up the _burnt_offering and_the_Fəlishtiy they _drew _near for_battle in_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_ YHWH _he _thundered with_a _sound great in _the_day (the)_that on the_Fəlishtiy and_he_confused _them and_they _were _defeated to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).

11 And_ the _men _of _they _went _out of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) from (the)_Miʦpāh and_they _pursued DOM the_Fəlishtiy and_they_defeated _them to from_under to_Bēyt- car.

12 And_ Shəmū^ʼēl _he/it _took a _stone one and_he/it _assigned between (the)_Miʦpāh and_between (the)_Shēn and_he/it _called DOM his/its_name Eben- ezer and_he _said until now he_has _helped _us YHWH.

13 And_they _were _subdued the_Fəlishtiy and_not they _repeated again to_come in_the _territory _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_it _became the _hand _of YHWH on_Fəlishtiy all _of the _days _of Shəmū^ʼēl/(Samuel).

14 And_they _went _back the_cities which they _had _taken the_Fəlishtiy from_with Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) to_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) from_ˊEqrōn and_unto Gat and_DOM territory _of_their Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) it _delivered from_the _hand _of the_Fəlishtiy and_he/it _was peace between Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_between the_ʼAmorī.

15 And_ Shəmū^ʼēl _he _judged DOM Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) all _of the _days _of his/its_life.

16 And_he _went from_sufficiency a _year in_a _year and_he _went _round Bēyt- ^ʼēl and_(the)_Gilgāl and_(the)_Miʦpāh and_he _judged DOM Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM all _of the_places the_these.
