3 Now go and _ attack DOM ˊAmālēq and _ utterly _ destroyDOM all that to _ him/it and _ not you _ must_ have_ compassionon/upon/above _ him/it and _ kill from _ man unto a _ womanfrom _ child and _ unto a _ sucking_ childfrom _ ox and _ unto a _ sheepfrom _ camel and _ unto a _ donkey4 and _ summoned Shāʼūl DOM the _ people and _ numbered _ them in/on/at/with _ Ţə lāʼīmtwo _ hundredthousand foot _ soldier[s]and _ ten thousand(s) with (the) _ manof _ Yə hūdāh/(Judah)5 And _ came Shāʼūl to the _ cityof _ ˊAmālēqand _ set _ an_ ambushin/on/at/with _ valley .
6 And _ he/it _ saidShāʼūl to the _ Qēynīs go depart go _ downfrom _ among [the] _ ˊAmālēqite[s]lest destroy _ you with _ him/it and _ you(ms) you _ didloyalty with all the _ peopleof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)in/on/at/with _ came _ up_ they out _ of_ Miʦrayim and _ withdrew [the] _ Qēynī[s]from _ among ˊAmālēq .
7 And _ defeated Shāʼūl DOM ˊAmālēq from _ Ḩₐvīlāh goes _ you Shūr which [is] _ onthe _ faceof _ Miʦrayim8 And _ captured DOM Agag the _ kingof _ ˊAmālēqalive and _ DOM all the _ people he _ totally_ destroyedwith _ edge of _ [the]_ sword9 And _ spared Shāʼūl and _ the _ people on Agag and _ to the _ bestthe _ sheep and _ the _ cattle and _ the _ fatlings and _ of the _ lambs and _ to all the _ good and _ not they _ were_ willingutterly _ destroy_ them and _ all the _ things despised and _ worthless DOM _ her/it they _ totally_ destroyed10 and _ he/it _ wasthe _ wordof _ YHWH to Shə mūʼēl to _ say .
11 I _ regretif/because _ thatI _ have_ made_ kingDOM Shāʼūl as _ king if/because he _ has_ turned_ backfrom _ following _ me and _ DOM instructions _ my not he _ has_ carried_ outand _ it _ glowed/burnedto _ Shə mūʼēl and _ cried _ outto YHWH all the _ night .
12 And _ rose _ earlyShə mūʼēl to _ meet Shāʼūl in/on/at/with _ morning and _ told to _ Shə mūʼēl to _ say he _ cameShāʼūl the _ Karmel _ to and _ see/lo/see [he _ was]_ setting_ upto _ him/it a _ monumentand _ turned and _ passed _ onand _ he/it _ descendedthe _ Gilgāl .

19 And _ for _ what not did _ you_ listenin/on/at/with _ voice of _ YHWH and _ pounce to the _ plunder and _ do the _ evil in/on _ both _ eyes_ ofof _ YHWH 20 and _ he/it _ saidShāʼūl to Shə mūʼēl (cmp) I _ listenedin/on/at/with _ voice of _ YHWH and _ went in/on/at/with _ mission which sent _ me YHWH and _ brought _ backDOM Agag the _ kingof _ ˊAmālēqand _ DOM ˊAmālēq I _ totally_ destroyed21 And _ he/it _ tookthe _ people from _ the _ plunder sheep and _ cattle the _ choicestthe _ things _ devoted_ to_ destructionto _ sacrifice to/for _ YHWH god _ your in/on/at/with _ Gilgāl .
22 And _ he/it _ saidShə mūʼēl the _ delight to/for _ YHWH in/on/at/with _ burnt _ offeringsand _ sacrifices as _ obeying in/on/at/with _ voice of _ YHWH here to _ obeythan _ sacrifice [is] _ goodto _ heed than _ fat of _ rams23 If/because [is _ the]_ sinof _ divinationrebellion and _ iniquity and _ idolatry presumption because you _ have_ rejectedDOM the _ wordof _ YHWH and _ rejected _ you from _ king .
24 and _ he/it _ saidShāʼūl to Shə mūʼēl I _ have_ sinnedif/because I _ have_ transgressedDOM the _ mouthof _ YHWH and _ DOM words _ your if/because I _ fearedDOM the _ people and _ obeyed in/on/at/with _ voice _ their .
25 And _ now forgive please DOM sin _ my and _ return with _ me and _ worship to/for _ YHWH 26 And _ he/it _ saidShə mūʼēl to Shāʼūl not I _ will_ returnwith _ you if/because you _ have_ rejectedDOM the _ wordof _ YHWH and _ rejected _ you YHWH from _ being king over Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
27 and _ turned Shə mūʼēl to _ go and _ caught _ holdin/on/at/with _ hem robe _ his and _ tore .
28 And _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it Shə mūʼēl he _ has_ tornYHWH DOM the _ kingshipof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)from _ with _ you the _ day and _ given _ it to _ neighbor _ your the _ better than _ you .
29 And _ also the _ eminenceof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)not he _ will_ deal_ falselyand _ not he _ will_ regretif/because not [is] _ a_ manhe to _ change _ mind30 And _ he/it _ saidI _ have_ sinnednow honour _ me please before the _ elderspeople _ my and _ before Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ return with _ me and _ worship to/for _ YHWH god _ your .
31 And _ went _ backShə mūʼēl after Shāʼūl and _ worshiped Shāʼūl to/for _ YHWH 32 and _ he/it _ saidShə mūʼēl bring _ nearto _ me DOM Agag the _ kingof _ ˊAmālēqand _ he/it _ wentto _ him/it Agag bonds and _ he/it _ saidAgag truly it _ has_ departedthe _ bitternessthe _ death .
33 and _ he/it _ saidShə mūʼēl just _ as it _ has_ made_ childlesswomen sword _ your so she _ will_ become_ childlessamong _ women mother _ your and _ hacked _ topiecesShə mūʼēl DOM Agag to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYHWH in/on/at/with _ Gilgāl .
