14 and _ answered ʼAḩīmelek DOM the _ king and _ said and _ who in/on/at/with _ all your _ servants as _ as_ Dāvid [is] _ faithfuland _ son-in-law the _ king and _ captain to bodyguard _ your and _ honoured in/on/at/with _ house _ your .
15 The _ day did _ I_ beginto _ inquired [fn ] to _ him/it in/on/at/with _ god no to/for _ me not let _ him_ putthe _ king in/on/at/with _ servant _ his anything in _ all the _ housefather’s _ my if/because not he _ knewservant _ your in _ all this anything small or great .
16 And _ he/it _ saidthe _ king surely _ (die)you _ will_ dieOh _ ʼAḩīmelekyou and _ all the _ houseI _ will_ show_ you(ms) .

21 And _ told ʼEⱱyātār to _ Dāvid if/because _ thathe _ had_ killedShāʼūl DOM the _ priestsof _ YHWH 22 And _ he/it _ saidDāvid to _ ʼEⱱyātār I _ knewin _ the_ day (the) _ that if/because [was] _ thereDoʼēg [fn ] the _ ʼEdōmite if/because _ thatsurely _ (tell)he _ will_ tellto _ Shāʼūl I I _ have_ turnedin _ all life of _ the_ houseI _ will_ show_ you(ms) .
