3 And_he/it_would_go_up the_man (the)_that from_town_his from_days to_days to_worship and_to_sacrifice to/for_YHWH of_hosts in_Shiloh and_there the_two the_sons of_ˊĒlī Ḩāfənī and_Pinehas [were]_priests to/for_YHWH.
4 And_he/it_was the_day and_he/it_sacrificed ʼElqānāh and_he/it_gave to/for_Fəninnāh his/its_wife/woman and_to/for_all her/its_sons/descendants and_her/its_daughters portions.
5 And_to/for_Ḩannāh he_gave a_portion one double if/because DOM Ḩannāh he_loved and_YHWH he_had_closed her_womb/uterus.
6 And_provoke_her rival_her also provocation in_account_of to_disconcert_her/it if/because he_had_closed YHWH behind her_womb/uterus.
7 And_thus/so/as_follows he_did a_year in_year from_sufficiency she_ascended in_house_of of_YHWH thus she/it_provoked_her/it and_she/it_wept and_not she_ate.
8 And_he/it_said to/for_her/it ʼElqānāh her/its_husband/man Oh_Ḩannāh to/for_what_(why) are_you_weeping and_to/for_what_(why) not are_you_eating and_to/for_what_(why) is_it_sad your(fs)_heart am_not [am]_I good to/for_you(fs) from_ten sons.
9 And_she/it_arose Ḩannāh after had_eaten in_Shiloh and_after had_drunk and_ˊĒlī the_priest/officer [was]_sitting on the_seat at the_doorpost of_the_temple of_YHWH.
10 And_she [was]_bitter of_soul and_she/it_prayed to YHWH and_weeping she_wept.
11 And_she/it_vowed a_vow and_she/it_said Oh_YHWH of_hosts if really_(look) you_will_look in_the_affliction your(ms)_female_slave and_you(ms)_will_remember_me and_not you_will_forget DOM your(ms)_female_slave and_you(ms)_will_give to/for_your(ms)_female_slave offspring of_men and_I_will_give_him/it to/for_YHWH all the_days his/its_life and_(a)_razor not it_will_go_up on his/its_head.
12 And_it_was if/because she_had_increased to_pray to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH and_ˊĒlī [was]_watching DOM her/its_mouth.
13 And_Ḩannāh she [was]_speaking to her/its_heart only her/its_lips [were]_quivering and_her/its_voice not it_was_heard and_he/it_considered_her/it ˊĒlī to_be_drunk(fs).
14 And_he/it_said to_her/it ˊĒlī until when will_you(fs)_be_drunk remove DOM wine_your from_with_you.
15 And_replied Ḩannāh and_she/it_said no my_master [am]_a_woman hard of_spirit I and_wine and_strong_drink not I_have_drunk and_pouring_out DOM soul_my to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH.
16 Do_not give DOM servant_your to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before a_daughter of_worthlessness if/because out_of_great anguish_my and_provocation_my I_have_spoken until now.
17 And_answered ˊĒlī and_he/it_said go in_peace and_god of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) may_he_grant DOM petition_your which you_have_asked from_with_him.
18 And_she/it_said may_she_find servant_your favour in/on/at/with_sight_your and_went the_woman on_way_her and_she/it_ate and_face_her not they_were to/for_her/it still.
19 And_rose_early in/on/at/with_morning and_worshiped to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH and_returned and_they_came to house_their the_Rāmāh_at and_he/it_knew ʼElqānāh DOM Ḩannāh his/its_wife/woman and_remembered_her YHWH.
20 And_he/it_was in_due the_days and_she/it_conceived/became_pregnant Ḩannāh and_she/it_gave_birth a_son and_she/it_called/named DOM his/its_name Shəmūʼēl if/because from_LORD asked_him.
21 And_he/it_ascended the_man ʼElqānāh and_all household_his to_offer to/for_YHWH DOM the_sacrifice the_days and_DOM vow_his.
22 And_Ḩannāh not she_went_up if/because she_said to/for_her/its_man/husband until he_will_be_weaned the_child and_bring_him and_appear with the_presence of_YHWH and_remain there until perpetuity.
23 And_he/it_said to/for_her/it ʼElqānāh her/its_husband/man do the_best in/on/at/with_eyes_of_you remain until weaned_you DOM_him/it only may_he_carry_out YHWH DOM word_his and_remained the_woman and_nursed DOM son_her until weaned_she DOM_him/it.
24 And_took_up_him with_her/it just_as weaned_him in/on/at/with_bull three and_ephah one flour and_skin of_wine and_brought_him the_house of_YHWH Shiloh and_the_child [was]_a_lad.
25 And_slaughtered DOM the_bull and_brought DOM the_boy to ˊĒlī.

27 Concerning the_boy the_this I_prayed and_he/it_gave YHWH to_me DOM petition_my which I_asked from_with_him.
28 And_also I lent_him to/for_YHWH all the_days which he_has_been he [is]_asked to/for_YHWH and_worshiped there to/for_YHWH.
2 and_she/it_prayed Ḩannāh and_she/it_said it_exults heart_my in/on/at/with_LORD it_is_exalted horn_my in/on/at/with_LORD it_has_opened_wide mouth_my on enemies_my if/because I_rejoiced in/on/at/with_salvation_your.
2 There_[is]_not a_holy_[one] like_LORD if/because there_[is]_not besides_you and_there_is_no a_rock like_god_our.
3 Do_not multiply you_all_will_speak haughty haughty it_goes_out arrogant_[speech] from_mouth_your_all’s if/because [is]_a_god of_knowledge(s) YHWH and_by[fn] they_are_measured deeds.
4 [the]_bow of_warriors [are]_shattered and_feeble they_gird_on strength.
5 Satisfied_[people] in/on/at/with_bread they_hire_themselves_out and_hungry they_cease to a_barren_[woman] she_bears seven_[children] and_many of_sons she_languishes.
6 YHWH [is]_killing and_makes_alive [he_is]_bringing_down Shəʼōl and_raises_up.
7 YHWH [is]_making_poor and_makes_rich [he_is]_bringing_low also [he_is]_exalting.
8 [he_is]_raising_up from_dust [the]_poor from_ash_heap he_lifts_up [the]_needy to_sit with noble_[people] and_seat of_honour inherit_them if/because to/for_YHWH [the]_pillars of_[the]_earth and_set on_them [the]_world.
9 The_feet faithful_his[fn] he_protects and_wicked in/on/at/with_darkness they_perish if/because not in/on/at/with_might he_prevails anyone.
10 YHWH they_are_shattered adversaries_his[fn] against_them[fn] in/on/at/with_heavens he_thunders YHWH he_judges [the]_ends of_[the]_earth and_give strength to_king_his and_exalt the_horn anointed_his.
11 and_he/it_went ʼElqānāh the_Rāmāh_to on home_his and_the_boy he_was serving DOM YHWH with the_presence of_ˊĒlī the_priest/officer.
12 And_the_sons of_ˊĒlī [were]_sons of_worthlessness not they_knew DOM YHWH.
13 And_custom the_priests with the_people every person [who_was]_sacrificing a_sacrifice and_come the_servant the_priest/officer while_boiling the_meat and_the_fork the_three the_prongs in_his/its_hand.

17 And_it_became the_sin the_young_men great very with the_presence of_YHWH if/because they_treated_with_contempt the_men DOM the_offering of_YHWH.
18 And_Shəmūʼēl [was]_serving DOM the_presence of_YHWH a_lad girded an_ephod of_linen.
19 And_robe small she_made for_him/it his/its_mother and_take to_him/it from_days to_days in/on/at/with_went_up_she with her/its_husband/man to_offer DOM the_sacrifice the_days.
20 And_bless ˊĒlī DOM ʼElqānāh and_DOM his/its_wife/woman and_saying(ms) may_he_appoint YHWH to/for_yourself(m) offspring from the_woman the_this in_place_of the_petitioned which someone_asked to/for_YHWH and_go to_home_their.
21 If/because he_visited YHWH DOM Ḩannāh and_she/it_conceived/became_pregnant and_she/it_gave_birth three sons and_two daughters and_grew_up the_boy Shəmūʼēl with YHWH.
22 and_ˊĒlī he_was_old exceedingly and_heard DOM all that doing sons_his to/from_all/each/any/every Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_DOM how lay_with with the_women the_served the_opening of_the_tent of_meeting.
23 And_he/it_said to/for_them to/for_what do such_the_things the_these that I [am]_hearing DOM dealings_your_all’s wicked from all the_people these.
24 No sons_my if/because [is]_not good the_report which I [am]_hearing [are]_spreading the_people of_YHWH.
25 If he_will_sin a_person against_man and_intercede_him god and_if to/for_YHWH he_will_sin a_person who will_he_intercede to_him/it and_not they_listened to_sound/voice father_their if/because he_desired YHWH to_kill_them.
26 And_the_boy Shəmūʼēl [was]_going and_stature and_favour both with YHWH and_also with people.
27 and_came a_man of_god to ˊĒlī and_he/it_said to_him/it thus he_says YHWH to_reveal_myself did_I_reveal_myself to the_house I_will_show_you(ms) on_their_being in/on/at/with_Miʦrayim/(Egypt) to_house of_Farˊoh.
28 And_chose DOM_him/it from_all the_tribes of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_me to_priest to_go_up on altar_my to_burn incense to_wear an_ephod in_presence_me and_gave to_house I_will_show_you(ms) DOM all the_fire_offerings of_the_people of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
29 To/for_what do_you_all_kick in/on/at/with_sacrifice_my and_in/on/at/with_offering_my which I_commanded a_dwelling_place and_honour DOM sons_your more_than_me by_making_fat_yourselves on_choicest_parts of_every (the)_offering of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) of_people_my.
30 For_so/thus/hence the_utterance of_YHWH the_god of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) indeed_(say) I_said house_your and_house I_will_show_you(ms) they_will_walk_about to/for_my_face/front until perpetuity and_now the_utterance of_YHWH far_be_it to/for_me if/because honour_me I_will_honour and_despise_me they_will_be_insignificant.
31 Here days [are]_coming and_cut_off DOM strength_your and_DOM the_arm of_the_house I_will_show_you(ms) no_there_be an_old_[man] in/on/at/with_house_your.
32 And_see [the]_distress of_a_dwelling_place in/on/at/with_all that he_will_do_good_to DOM Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_not he_will_be an_old_[man] in/on/at/with_family_your all the_days.
33 And_one not I_will_cut_off to/for_yourself(m) from_at altar_my to_fail DOM eyes_your and_to_grieve DOM heart_your and_all the_increase household_your they_will_die men.
34 And_this to_you the_sign which it_will_come to the_two sons_your to Ḩāfənī and_Fīnəḩāş in/on_day one they_will_die both_them.
35 And_raise_up to_me a_priest faithful just_as in/on/at/with_heart_my and_in/on/at/with_mind_my he_will_act and_build to_him/it a_house enduring and_walk[fn] to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before anointed_my all the_days.
36 And_it_was every the_left in/on/at/with_family_your he_will_come to_bow_down to_him/it for_piece of_silver and_loaf of_bread and_saying(ms) appoint_me please to one the_priestly_office so_that_eat a_piece of_bread.
3 and_the_boy Shəmūʼēl [was]_serving DOM YHWH to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before ˊĒlī and_word of_YHWH it_was rare in_the_days the_those there_[was]_not vision spread_out.
2 and_he/it_was in_the_day (the)_that and_ˊĒlī [was]_lying in/on/at/with_place_his[fn] and_eyesight_whose[fn] they_began dim not he_was_able to_see.
3 And_lamp of_god not_yet it_was_extinguished and_Shəmūʼēl [was]_lying in_(the)_palace of_YHWH where [was]_there the_ark of_god.
4 and_he/it_called YHWH to Shəmūʼēl and_he/it_said here_I.
5 And_ran to ˊĒlī and_he/it_said here_I if/because you_summoned to/for_me and_he/it_said not I_summoned return lie_down and_he/it_went and_lay_down.
6 and_again YHWH to_call again Shəmūʼēl and_he/it_rose_up Shəmūʼēl and_he/it_went to ˊĒlī and_he/it_said here_I if/because you_summoned to_me and_he/it_said not I_summoned son_my return lie_down.
7 And_Shəmūʼēl not_yet he_knew DOM YHWH and_not_yet it_was_revealed to_him/it the_word of_YHWH.
8 And_again YHWH to_call Shəmūʼēl in/on/at/with_third_time and_he/it_rose_up and_he/it_went to ˊĒlī and_he/it_said here_I if/because you_summoned to_me and_perceived ˊĒlī if/because_that YHWH [was]_summoning to_the_boy.
9 And_he/it_said ˊĒlī to_Shəmūʼēl go lie_down and_it_was if he_will_call to_you and_say speak Oh_YHWH if/because [is]_listening servant_your and_he/it_went Shəmūʼēl and_lay_down in/on/at/with_place_his.
10 And_came YHWH and_stood and_he/it_called as_time in/on/at/with_times Oh_Shəmūʼēl Oh_Shəmūʼēl and_he/it_said Shəmūʼēl speak if/because [is]_listening servant_your.
11 and_he/it_said YHWH to Shəmūʼēl here I [am]_about_to_do a_thing in/on/at/with_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) which every hears_it they_will_tingle the_two ears_him.
12 In_the_day (the)_that I_will_carry_out against ˊĒlī DOM all that I_have_spoken against house_his beginning and_end.
13 And_told to_him/it if/because_that [am]_about_to_judge I DOM house_his until perpetuity in/on/at/with_iniquity which he_knew if/because [were]_bringing_a_curse to/for_them sons_his and_not he_rebuked in/on/at/with_them.
14 And_to/for I_swear to_house of_ˊĒlī if it_will_be_atoned_for the_iniquity of_the_house of_ˊĒlī in/on/at/with_sacrifice and_in/on/at/with_offering until perpetuity.
15 And_lay_down Shəmūʼēl until the_morning and_opened DOM the_doors of_the_house of_YHWH and_Shəmūʼēl he_was_afraid to_tell DOM the_vision to ˊĒlī.
16 And_he/it_called ˊĒlī DOM Shəmūʼēl and_he/it_said Oh_Shəmūʼēl son_my and_he/it_said here_I.
17 And_he/it_said what the_message which he_spoke to_you do_not please hide_[it] from_me thus may_he_do to_you god and_also may_he_add if you_will_hide from_me a_word from_all the_words which he_spoke to_you.
18 And_told to_him/it Shəmūʼēl DOM all the_words and_not he_hid_[them] from_him/it and_said [is]_YHWH he the_good in/on/at/with_sight_him[fn] let_him_do.
19 and_grew_up Shəmūʼēl and_YHWH he_was with_him/it and_not he_made_fall from_all words_his ground_to.
20 And_he/it_knew all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) from_Dān and_unto wwww wwww if/because_that [was]_established Shəmūʼēl as_prophet to/for_YHWH.
21 And_continued YHWH to_appear in_Shiloh if/because he_revealed_himself YHWH to Shəmūʼēl in/on/at/with_Shiloh in/on/at/with_word of_YHWH.
4 and_he/it_was the_word of_Shəmūʼēl to/from_all/each/any/every Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he/it_went_out Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_meet [the]_Fəlishəttiy for_the_battle and_camped at the wwww and_Fəlishəttiy they_encamped in/on/at/with_ʼAfēq.
2 And_drew_up [the]_Fəlishəttiy to_meet Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_spread the_battle and_defeated Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before [the]_Fəlishəttiy and_killed in/on/at/with_battle in_the_field about_four thousand(s) man.
3 And_came the_troops into the_camp and_they_said the_elders of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to/for_what defeated_us YHWH the_day to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before [the]_Fəlishəttiy let_us_bring to_us from_Shiloh DOM the_ark of_the_covenant of_YHWH and_come in/on/at/with_midst_us and_save_us from_power enemies_our.
4 And_sent the_people Shiloh and_brought from_there DOM the_ark of_the_covenant of_YHWH of_hosts [who]_sits the_cherubims and_there the_two the_sons of_ˊĒlī [were]_with the_ark of_the_covenant the_ʼElohīm Ḩāfənī and_Fīnəḩāş.
5 And_he/it_was when_came the_ark of_the_covenant of_YHWH into the_camp and_let_out all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) a_shout great and_shook the_earth/land.
6 And_heard [the]_Fəlishəttiy DOM the_sound the_shouting and_they_said what [is]_the_sound the_shouting the_great the_this in/on/at/with_camp the_ˊIⱱrī/(Hebrews) and_they_knew if/because_that the_ark of_YHWH it_had_come into the_camp.
7 And_they_saw the_Fəlishəttiy if/because they_said he_has_come a_god into the_camp and_they_said woe to/for_us if/because not it_has_been like_this yesterday three_days_ago.
8 Woe to/for_us who deliver_us from_hand the_ʼElohīm the_mighty the_these these they the_ʼElohīm the_struck DOM Miʦrayim/(Egypt) in_all plague in/on/at/with_wilderness.
9 Show_yourselves_strong and_be like_men Oh_Fəlishəttiy lest you_all_should_serve to_the_ˊIⱱrī just_as they_have_served to/for_you_all and_you_all_will_be like_men and_fight.
10 And_fought [the]_Fəlishəttiy and_defeated Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_fled each_man to_tent_his and_it_became the_slaughter great exceedingly and_fell of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) thirty thousand foot_soldier[s].
11 And_ark of_god it_was_taken and_two the_sons of_ˊĒlī they_died Ḩāfənī and_Fīnəḩāş.
12 And_ran the_man of_Binyāmīn from_the_battle_line and_came Shiloh in_the_day (the)_that and_clothes_his [were]_torn and_earth [was]_on his/its_head.
13 And_arrived and_see/lo/see ˊĒlī [was]_sitting on the_seat [the]_side[fn] of_[the]_road watching if/because it_was his/its_heart trembling on the_ark the_ʼElohīm and_the_man he_came to_announce in/on/at/with_city and_cried_out all the_city.
14 And_he/it_listened ˊĒlī DOM the_sound the_outcry and_he/it_said what [is]_the_sound the_commotion the_this and_the_man he_hurried and_came and_told to_ˊĒlī.
15 And_ˊĒlī [was]_a_son of_ninety and_eight year[s] and_eyes_his it_was_set and_not he_was_able to_see.
16 And_he/it_said the_man to ˊĒlī I the_come from the_battle_line and_I from the_battle_line I_have_fled the_day and_he/it_said what was_it the_things son_my.
17 And_replied the_messenger and_he/it_said it_has_fled Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before [the]_Fəlishəttiy and_also a_slaughter great it_has_been in/on/at/with_people and_also the_two sons_your they_have_died Ḩāfənī and_Fīnəḩāş and_ark the_ʼElohīm it_has_been_taken.
18 and_he/it_was when_mentioned_he DOM the_ark the_ʼElohīm and_fell from_under the_seat backwards behind the_side the_gate and_broken neck_his and_he/it_died if/because he_was_old the_man and_heavy and_he he_had_judged DOM Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) forty year[s].
19 And_daughter-in-law_his the_wife of_Fīnəḩāş [was]_pregnant to_give_birth and_heard DOM the_news concerning the_being_taken of_the_ark the_ʼElohīm and_dead father-in-law_her and_husband_her and_bowed and_she/it_gave_birth if/because they_turned on/upon_it(f) pains_her.
20 And_about_time death_she and_said the_attending on/upon_it(f) do_not be_afraid if/because a_son you_have_borne and_not she_answered and_not she_set her/its_heart.
21 And_she/it_called/named to_the_boy wwww wwww to_say it_has_gone_into_exile glory from_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) because_of the_being_taken of_the_ark the_ʼElohīm and_near/to father-in-law_her and_husband_her.
22 And_she/it_said it_has_gone_into_exile glory from_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) if/because it_has_been_taken the_ark the_ʼElohīm.
5 and_Fəlishəttiy they_took DOM the_ark the_ʼElohīm and_brought_it from wwww ʼAshəddōd_to.
2 And_they_took [the]_Fəlishəttiy DOM the_ark the_ʼElohīm and_brought DOM_him/it the_house of_Dagon and_placed DOM_him/it beside Dagon.
3 And_rose_early [the]_ʼAshəddōdites on_next_morning and_see/lo/see Dagon [was]_lying on_face_his towards_land to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_ark of_YHWH and_they_took DOM Dagon and_put_back DOM_him/it in_place_his.
4 And_got_up_early in/on/at/with_morning on_next and_see/lo/see Dagon [was]_lying on_face_his towards_land to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_ark of_YHWH and_head of_Dagon and_both the_palms hands_his [were]_cut_off to the_threshold only Dagon it_remained on/upon/above_him/it.

2 and_he/it_was from_day dwelt the_ark in/on/at/with wwww and_long the_days and_they_were twenty year[s] and_lamented all the_house of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) after YHWH.

25 and_he/it_spoke Shəmūʼēl to the_people DOM the_right[s] the_kingship and_wrote in/on/at/with_scroll and_placed to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH and_sent_away Shəmūʼēl DOM all the_people each_man to_home_his.
26 And_also Shāʼūl he_went to_home_his Giⱱˊāh_at and_went with_him/it the_valiant_men which he_had_touched god in/on/at/with_hearts_whose.
27 And_the_sons of_worthlessness they_said what save_us this_one and_despised_him and_not they_brought to_him/it a_gift and_he/it_was as_kept_silent.
11 and_he/it_ascended Nāḩāsh the_Ammonite and_besieged on wwww wwww and_they_said all the_men of_Yāⱱēsh/(Jabesh) to Nāḩāsh make to/for_us a_covenant and_serve_you.
2 And_he/it_said to_them Nāḩāsh the_Ammonite in/on/at/with_this I_will_make to/for_you_all in/on/at/with_gouge_out to/for_you_all every eye of_[the]_right_side and_bring_it a_reproach on all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).

7 And_he/it_took a_pair of_ox[en] and_cut_inpieces_them and_sent in_all the_territory of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) in/on/at/with_hand the_messengers to_say [one]_who not_he [is]_coming_out after Shāʼūl and_after Shəmūʼēl thus it_will_be_done to_oxen_his and_fell the_dread of_YHWH on the_people and_they_went_out as_man one.

12 And_he/it_said the_people to Shəmūʼēl who the_said Shāʼūl will_he_reign over_us deliver_up the_men and_put_todeath_them.
13 And_he/it_said Shāʼūl not he_will_be_put_to_death anyone in_the_day the_this if/because the_day he_has_done YHWH deliverance in/on/at/with_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
14 and_he/it_said Shəmūʼēl to the_people come and_go the_Gilgāl and_renew there the_royalty.

12 and_he/it_said Shəmūʼēl to all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) here I_have_listened in/on/at/with_voice_your_all’s to_all/each/any/every that you_all_have_said to_me and_I_set_king over_you_all a_king.

32 And_pounced[fn] the_troops to wwww[fn] and_they_took sheep and_cattle and_the_sons of_[the]_herd and_slaughtered ground_on and_ate the_troops with the_blood.
33 And_reported to_Shāʼūl to_say there the_troops [are]_sinning to/for_YHWH by_eating with the_blood and_he/it_said you_all_have_acted_treacherously roll to_me the_day a_stone great.
34 And_he/it_said Shāʼūl be_scattered in/on/at/with_troops and_say to/for_them bring_near to_me each_one ox_his and_each sheep_his and_slaughter in/on/at/with_this and_eat and_not you_all_will_sin to/for_YHWH by_eating with the_blood and_brought all the_troops each_one ox_his in/on/at/with_hand_him the_night and_slaughtered there.
35 And_he/it_built Shāʼūl an_altar to/for_YHWH DOM_him/it he_began to_built an_altar to/for_YHWH.
36 and_he/it_said Shāʼūl let_us_go_down after [the]_Fəlishəttiy night and_plunder in/among_them until the_light the_morning and_not let_us_leave (is)_in_them anyone and_they_said all the_good in/on/at/with_eyes_you do and_he/it_said the_priest/officer let_us_draw_near here to the_ʼElohīm.

39 If/because [by]_the_life of_YHWH the_saves DOM Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) if/because if is_it in/on/at/with_Yōnātān son_my if/because surely_(die) he_will_die and_not answered_him from_all the_people.
40 And_he/it_said to all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) you_all you_all_will_be on_side one and_I and_Yōnātān son_my we_will_be on_side one and_they_said the_people to Shāʼūl the_good in/on/at/with_eyes_you do.

49 and_they_were the_sons of_Shāʼūl Yōnātān and_Yishəvī/(Ishvi) and wwww and_name_of of_the_two daughters_his the_name the_firstborn [was]_Mērāⱱ and_name_of the_younger [was]_Mīkāl.
50 And_name_of of_the_wife of_Shāʼūl [was]_ʼAḩīnoˊam the_daughter of_ʼAḩīmaˊaʦ and_name_of of_the_commander army_his [was]_ʼAⱱnēr the_son of_Nēr the_uncle of_Shāʼūl.
51 And_Qīsh [was]_the_father of_Shāʼūl and_Nēr the_father of_ʼAⱱnēr [was]_the_son of_ʼAⱱīʼēl.
52 and_it_became the_war severe on [the]_Fəlishəttiy all the_days of_Shāʼūl and_saw Shāʼūl every man mighty and_all son of_strength and_attached_him to_him/it.
15 and_he/it_said Shəmūʼēl to Shāʼūl DOM_me he_sent YHWH to_anoint_you as_king over people_his over Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_now listen to_sound/voice of_the_words of_YHWH.
2 thus he_says YHWH of_hosts I_have_paid_attention_to DOM [that]_which it_did ˊAmālēq to_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) [that]_which it_set to_him/it in/on/at/with_way in/on/at/with_came_up_they from_Miʦrayim/(Egypt).
3 Now go and_attack DOM ˊAmālēq and_utterly_destroy DOM all that to_him/it and_not you_must_have_compassion on/upon/above_him/it and_kill from_man unto a_woman from_child and_unto a_sucking_child from_ox and_unto a_sheep from_camel and_unto a_donkey.
4 and_summoned Shāʼūl DOM the_people and_numbered_them in/on/at/with_Ţəlāʼīm two_hundred thousand foot_soldier[s] and_ten thousand(s) with (the)_man of_Yəhūdāh/(Judah).
5 And_came Shāʼūl to the_city of_ˊAmālēq and_set_an_ambush in/on/at/with_valley.
6 And_he/it_said Shāʼūl to the_Qēynīs go depart go_down from_among [the]_ˊAmālēqite[s] lest destroy_you with_him/it and_you(ms) you_did loyalty with all the_people of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) in/on/at/with_came_up_they out_of_Miʦrayim and_withdrew [the]_Qēynī[s] from_among ˊAmālēq.
7 And_defeated Shāʼūl DOM ˊAmālēq from_Ḩₐvīlāh goes_you Shūr which [is]_on the_face of_Miʦrayim.
8 And_captured DOM Agag the_king of_ˊAmālēq alive and_DOM all the_people he_totally_destroyed with_edge of_[the]_sword.
9 And_spared Shāʼūl and_the_people on Agag and_to the_best the_sheep and_the_cattle and_the_fatlings and_of the_lambs and_to all the_good and_not they_were_willing utterly_destroy_them and_all the_things despised and_worthless DOM_her/it they_totally_destroyed.
10 and_he/it_was the_word of_YHWH to Shəmūʼēl to_say.
11 I_regret if/because_that I_have_made_king DOM Shāʼūl as_king if/because he_has_turned_back from_following_me and_DOM instructions_my not he_has_carried_out and_it_glowed/burned to_Shəmūʼēl and_cried_out to YHWH all the_night.
12 And_rose_early Shəmūʼēl to_meet Shāʼūl in/on/at/with_morning and_told to_Shəmūʼēl to_say he_came Shāʼūl the_Karmel_to and_see/lo/see [he_was]_setting_up to_him/it a_monument and_turned and_passed_on and_he/it_descended the_Gilgāl.

17 and_he/it_said Shəmūʼēl am_not though [were]_small you in/on/at/with_eyes_your_own the_chief of_the_tribes of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) [are]_you and_anointed_you YHWH as_king over Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
18 And_sent_you YHWH in/on/at/with_mission and_he/it_said go and_utterly_destroy DOM the_sinners DOM ˊAmālēq and_fight in_him/it until consumed_they DOM_them.
19 And_for_what not did_you_listen in/on/at/with_voice of_YHWH and_pounce to the_plunder and_do the_evil in/on_both_eyes_of of_YHWH.
20 and_he/it_said Shāʼūl to Shəmūʼēl (cmp) I_listened in/on/at/with_voice of_YHWH and_went in/on/at/with_mission which sent_me YHWH and_brought_back DOM Agag the_king of_ˊAmālēq and_DOM ˊAmālēq I_totally_destroyed.
21 And_he/it_took the_people from_the_plunder sheep and_cattle the_choicest the_things_devoted_to_destruction to_sacrifice to/for_YHWH god_your in/on/at/with_Gilgāl.
22 And_he/it_said Shəmūʼēl the_delight to/for_YHWH in/on/at/with_burnt_offerings and_sacrifices as_obeying in/on/at/with_voice of_YHWH here to_obey than_sacrifice [is]_good to_heed than_fat of_rams.
23 If/because [is_the]_sin of_divination rebellion and_iniquity and_idolatry presumption because you_have_rejected DOM the_word of_YHWH and_rejected_you from_king.
24 and_he/it_said Shāʼūl to Shəmūʼēl I_have_sinned if/because I_have_transgressed DOM the_mouth of_YHWH and_DOM words_your if/because I_feared DOM the_people and_obeyed in/on/at/with_voice_their.
25 And_now forgive please DOM sin_my and_return with_me and_worship to/for_YHWH.
26 And_he/it_said Shəmūʼēl to Shāʼūl not I_will_return with_you if/because you_have_rejected DOM the_word of_YHWH and_rejected_you YHWH from_being king over Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
27 and_turned Shəmūʼēl to_go and_caught_hold in/on/at/with_hem robe_his and_tore.
28 And_he/it_said to_him/it Shəmūʼēl he_has_torn YHWH DOM the_kingship of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) from_with_you the_day and_given_it to_neighbor_your the_better than_you.
29 And_also the_eminence of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) not he_will_deal_falsely and_not he_will_regret if/because not [is]_a_man he to_change_mind.
30 And_he/it_said I_have_sinned now honour_me please before the_elders people_my and_before Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_return with_me and_worship to/for_YHWH god_your.
31 And_went_back Shəmūʼēl after Shāʼūl and_worshiped Shāʼūl to/for_YHWH.
32 and_he/it_said Shəmūʼēl bring_near to_me DOM Agag the_king of_ˊAmālēq and_he/it_went to_him/it Agag bonds and_he/it_said Agag truly it_has_departed the_bitterness the_death.
33 and_he/it_said Shəmūʼēl just_as it_has_made_childless women sword_your so she_will_become_childless among_women mother_your and_hacked_topieces Shəmūʼēl DOM Agag to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH in/on/at/with_Gilgāl.
34 and_he/it_went Shəmūʼēl the_Rāmāh_to and_Shāʼūl he_went_up to house_his Giⱱˊāh of_Shāʼūl.
35 And_not he_repeated Shəmūʼēl to_see DOM Shāʼūl until the_day death_his if/because he_mourned Shəmūʼēl concerning Shāʼūl and_LORD he_regretted if/because_that he_had_made_king DOM Shāʼūl over Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).

2 And_Shāʼūl and_men of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) they_were_gathered and_camped in/on/at/with wwww and_drew_up battle to_meet [the]_Fəlishəttiy.
3 And_Fəlishəttiy [were]_standing to the_hill on_one and_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) [were]_standing to the_mountain on_the_other_side and_the_valley between_them.
4 And_he/it_went_out the_man the_spaces_between from_camp of_[the]_Fəlishəttiy [was]_Gāləyat his/its_name from_Gat height_whose [was]_six cubits and_span.
5 And_helmet of_bronze [was]_on his/its_head and_coat of_scales he [was]_clothed and_weight the_coat [was]_five thousand(s) shekels bronze.
6 And_greaves of_bronze [was]_on legs_his and_javelin of_bronze [was]_between shoulders_his.
7 And_shaft[fn] spear_his like_beam of_weavers and_point spear_his [was]_six hundred(s) shekels iron and_bearer the_shield [was]_walking in_front_him.
8 And_stood and_he/it_called to the_battle_lines of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he/it_said to/for_them to/for_what do_you_all_come_out to_draw_up battle am_not [am]_I the_Philistine and_you_all servants of_Shāʼūl commission to/for_you_all a_man and_come_down to_me.

37 and_he/it_said Dāvid YHWH who delivered_me from_paw the_lion and_from_paw the_bear he deliver_me from_hand the_Philistine the_this and_he/it_said Shāʼūl to Dāvid go and_YHWH he_will_be with_you.
38 And_clothed Shāʼūl DOM Dāvid armor_his and_he/it_gave a_helmet of_bronze on his/its_head and_clothed DOM_him/it body_armor.

8 And_summoned Shāʼūl DOM all the_people for_the_war to_go_down Qəˊīlāh to_besiege against Dāvid and_near/to men_his.

26 And_he/it_went Shāʼūl on_side the_mountain on_one and_Dāvid and_men_his on_side the_mountain on_the_other and_he/it_was Dāvid hurrying_away to_go from_face/in_front_of Shāʼūl and_Shāʼūl and_men_his [were]_surrounding (to) Dāvid and_near/to men_his to_capture_them.

12 And_set_out every man of_strength and_journeyed all the_night and_they_took DOM the_corpse of_Shāʼūl and_DOM the_corpses sons_his from_wall house_of wwww and_they_came Yāⱱēsh/(Jabesh)_to and_burned DOM_them there.
13 And_they_took DOM bones_their and_buried under the_tamarisk_tree in/on/at/with_Yāⱱēsh and_fasted seven days.
