UST Now, this is how the people of Israel should deal with these types of discharges that have the potential to make people impure. It does not matter whether the man's genitals have secreted the discharge or whether there is a blockage in the man's genitals; the people of Israel should consider this man to be impure.
BSB This uncleanness is from his discharge, whether his body allows the discharge to flow or blocks it. So his discharge will bring about uncleanness.

15:1-33 The principle of normal and abnormal and the created order again aids the interpretation of these regulations (see “Clean, Unclean, and Holy” Theme Note). Bodily discharges, such as infections (see study note on 13:1-46), were not “normal” because they weakened the vitality of the person, so the person was not seen as whole. Whether male (15:1-18) or female (15:19-33), such a person became unclean.

וְזֹ֛את תִּהְיֶ֥ה טֻמְאָת֖וֹ & טֻמְאָת֖וֹ הִֽוא
and,this you(ms)_will_be uncleanness,his & uncleanness,his who/which
If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea behind the words uncleanness, you can express the same idea with a verbal form. Alternate translation: “This is what makes him unclean … it makes him unclean”
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
רָ֣ר בְּשָׂר֞וֹ אֶת־זוֹב֗וֹ
secretes body,his DOM discharge,his
This expression refers to the manner of the man’s flow. It likely describes a discharge that excretes or drips from a man’s genitals. If this meaning would not be clear to your readers, consider using an expression that is more natural in your language. Alternate translation: “whether the discharge drips from his flesh”
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
אֽוֹ־הֶחְתִּ֤ים בְּשָׂרוֹ֙ מִזּוֹב֔וֹ
or stopped body,his from,discharge,his
Like the previous expression, this phrase refers to the manner of the man’s flow. It likely describes a discharge that is stopped up in a man’s genitals and has become infected. If this meaning would not be clear to your readers, consider using an expression that is more natural in your language. Alternate translation: “or the discharge is stopped up in the man’s flesh”
