4 And _ Mōʼāⱱ _ he/it _ saidto the _ elders_ ofMidyān now they _ will_ lick_ upthe _ horde DOM all _ ofaround _ of_ us as _ licks _ upthe _ ox DOM the _ greenery_ ofthe _ field and _ Bālāq the _ son_ ofTsipōr/(Zippor) [was] _ kingof _ Mōʼāⱱ in/on/at/with _ time the _ that .
5 And _ sent messengers to Bilˊām the _ son_ ofBə ˊōr Pethor _ at which [was] _ atthe _ river the _ land_ ofthe _ sons_ ofpeople _ of_ his to _ call to _ him/it to _ say here a _ peopleit _ has_ come_ outfrom _ Miʦrayim/(Egypt) here it _ has_ coveredDOM the _ eye_ ofthe _ earth/land and _ he [is] _ dwellingnext _ to _ me .
6 And _ now come please curse to/for _ me DOM the _ people the _ this if/because [is _ too]_ mightyit for _ me perhaps I _ will_ be_ ableto _ defeatin/on/over _ him/it and _ drive _ out_ them from the _ earth/land if/because I _ knowDOM [the _ one]_ whomyou _ bless[is] _ blessedand _ which you _ cursehe _ is_ cursed7 And _ departed the _ elders_ ofMōʼāⱱ and _ elders _ ofMidyān and _ fees _ for_ divinationin/on/at/with _ hand _ of_ their and _ they _ cameto Bilˊām and _ gave to _ him/it the _ words_ ofBālāq .
8 And _ he/it _ saidto _ them lodge here the _ night and _ bring _ backDOM _ you _ allword just _ as he _ will_ speakYHWH to _ me and _ the _ leaders_ of_ they _ livedof _ Mōʼāⱱwith Bilˊām .
9 And _ god _ came to Bilˊām and _ he/it _ saidwho the _ men the _ these with _ you .
10 And _ Bilˊām _ he/it _ saidto the _ ʼElohīm Bālāq the _ son_ ofTsipōr/(Zippor) the _ king_ ofMōʼāⱱ he _ sentto _ me .

12 And _ god _ he/it _ saidto Bilˊām not you _ will_ gowith _ them not you _ will_ curseDOM the _ people if/because [is] _ blessedit .
13 And _ Bilˊām _ he/it _ rose_ upin/on/at/with _ morning and _ he/it _ saidto the _ leaders_ ofBālāq go to land _ of_ your _ all’sif/because YHWH he _ has_ refusedto _ let _ me to _ go with _ you _ all14 And _ the _ leaders_ of_ rose of _ Mōʼāⱱand _ they _ cameto Bālāq and _ they _ saidBilˊām he _ has_ refusedto _ comewith _ us .
15 And _ he _ repeatedagain Bālāq leaders to _ sendmany and _ distinguished from _ these .
16 And _ they _ cameto Bilˊām and _ they _ saidto _ him/it thus Bālāq he _ saysthe _ son_ ofTsipōr/(Zippor) do _ notplease let _ yourself_ be_ restrainedfrom _ coming to _ me .
17 If/because surely _ (honour)honour _ you exceedingly and _ all/each/any/every that you _ will_ sayto _ me I _ will_ doand _ come please curse to/for _ me DOM the _ people the _ this .
18 And _ Bilˊām _ answered and _ he/it _ saidto the _ servants_ ofBālāq if he _ will_ giveto _ me Bālāq the _ fullness_ ofhouse _ of_ his silver and _ gold not I _ will_ be_ ableto _ go _ beyondDOM the _ mouth_ ofYHWH god _ of_ my for _ doing a _ small_ [thing]or a _ large_ [thing]19 And _ now remain please in/on/at/with _ here also you _ allthe _ night and _ find _ outwhat will _ he_ increaseYHWH to _ speakto _ me .
20 And _ god _ came to Bilˊām night and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it if to _ call to/for _ yourself(m) they _ have_ comethe _ men arise go with _ them and _ only DOM the _ word which I _ will_ speakto _ you DOM _ him/it you _ will_ do21 And _ Bilˊām _ he/it _ rose_ upin/on/at/with _ morning and _ saddled DOM donkey _ of_ his and _ he/it _ wentwith the _ leaders_ ofMōʼāⱱ .
22 And _ it _ glowed/burnedthe _ angergod if/because [was] _ goinghe and _ the _ messenger_ of_ took _ standof _ YHWH in/on/at/with _ road as _ adversary to _ him/it and _ he [was] _ ridingon donkey _ of_ his and _ two _ ofservants _ of_ his with _ him/it .
23 And _ she/it _ sawthe _ donkey DOM the _ messenger_ ofYHWH standing in/on/at/with _ road and _ sword _ of_ his [was] _ drawnin _ his/its _ hand and _ turned the _ donkey from the _ road and _ went in _ the_ field and _ Bilˊām _ struck DOM the _ donkey to _ turn _ back_ her the _ road .
24 And _ stood the _ messenger_ ofYHWH in/on/at/with _ narrow _ path_ ofthe _ vineyards a _ wallon _ this and _ wall on _ that .
25 And _ she/it _ sawthe _ donkey DOM the _ messenger_ ofYHWH and _ pressed to the _ wall and _ pressed DOM the _ foot_ ofBilˊām to the _ wall and _ again to _ struck _ her .
26 And _ the _ messenger_ of_ further of _ YHWH to _ pass_ onand _ stood in/on/at/with _ place narrow where there _ [was]_ nota _ wayto _ turn right _ handand _ left .
27 And _ she/it _ sawthe _ donkey DOM the _ messenger_ ofYHWH and _ lay _ downunder Bilˊām and _ it _ glowed/burnedthe _ angerof _ Bilˊāmand _ struck DOM the _ donkey in/on/at/with _ staff .
28 And _ YHWH _ opened DOM the _ mouth_ ofthe _ donkey and _ she/it _ saidto _ Bilˊām what have _ I_ doneto/for _ yourself(m) (cmp) struck _ me this three feet .
29 And _ Bilˊām _ he/it _ saidto _ the_ donkey if/because you _ have_ dealt_ wantonlyin/on/at/with _ me if there _ [was]a _ swordin/on/at/with _ hand _ of_ my if/because now kill _ you .
30 And _ she/it _ saidthe _ donkey to Bilˊām am _ not [am] _ Idonkey _ of_ your which you _ have_ riddenon _ me as _ all _ life_ your until the _ day the _ this to _ make_ habithave _ I_ had_ the_ habitfor _ doing to/for _ yourself(m) thus and _ he/it _ saidno .
31 And _ YHWH _ opened DOM the _ eyes_ ofBilˊām and _ he/it _ sawDOM the _ messenger_ ofYHWH standing in/on/at/with _ road and _ sword _ of_ his [was] _ drawnin _ his/its _ hand and _ bowed _ downand _ falling on _ face _ of_ his .
32 And _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it the _ messenger_ ofYHWH concerning what did _ you_ strikeDOM donkey _ of_ your this three feet here I I _ came_ outas _ adversary if/because it _ is_ precipitatethe _ way to/for _ before _ me .
33 And _ saw _ me the _ donkey and _ turned _ awayto/for _ my _ face/front this three feet perhaps it _ had_ turned_ asidefrom _ face _ of_ me if/because now also DOM _ you I _ killedand _ DOM _ her I _ preserved_ alive34 And _ Bilˊām _ he/it _ saidto the _ messenger_ ofYHWH I _ have_ sinnedif/because not I _ knewif/because _ thatyou [were] _ standingto _ oppose _ me in/on/at/with _ road and _ now if [it _ is]_ displeasingin/on/at/with _ sight _ of_ you I _ will_ turn_ backto/for _ me .
35 And _ the _ messenger_ of_ he/it _ saidof _ YHWH to Bilˊām go with the _ men and _ only DOM the _ word which I _ will_ speakto _ you DOM _ him/it you _ will_ speakand _ Bilˊām _ he/it _ wentwith the _ leaders_ ofBālāq .
36 And _ Bālāq _ he/it _ listenedif/because _ thatBilˊām he _ had_ comeand _ he/it _ went_ outto _ meet _ him to the _ city_ ofMōʼāⱱ which [is] _ onthe _ border_ ofʼArnōn which in/on/at/with _ edge _ ofthe _ territory .
37 And _ Bālāq _ he/it _ saidto Bilˊām not urgently _ (send)did _ I_ sendto _ you to _ call to/for _ you(fs) to/for _ what not did _ you_ cometo _ me really not am _ I_ ablehonour _ you .
