8 And_he/it_said to_them lodge here the_night and_I_will_bring_back you(pl) message just_as he_will_speak YHWH to_me and_ the_leaders_of _they_lived of_Mōʼāⱱ with Bilˊām.
9 And_ god _he_came to Bilˊām and_he/it_said who are_the_men the_these with_you.
10 And_ Bilˊām _he/it_said to the_ʼElohīm Bālāq the_son_of Tsipōr/(Zippor) the_king_of Mōʼāⱱ he_sent to_me.

13 And_ Bilˊām _he/it_rose_up in_morning and_he/it_said to the_leaders_of Bālāq go to land_of_your(pl) if/because YHWH he_has_refused to_permit_me to_go with_you(pl).
14 And_ the_leaders_of _they_arose of_Mōʼāⱱ and_they_came to Bālāq and_they_said Bilˊām he_has_refused to_come with_us.
15 And_he_repeated again Bālāq leaders to_send many and_honoured from_these.
16 And_they_came to Bilˊām and_they_said to_him/it thus Bālāq he_says the_son_of Tsipōr/(Zippor) do_not please let_yourself_be_restrained from_coming to_me.
17 If/because surely_(honour) I_will_honour_you exceedingly and_all/each/any/every that you_will_say to_me I_will_do and_come please curse to/for_me DOM the_people (the)_this.
18 And_ Bilˊām _he_answered and_he/it_said to the_servants_of Bālāq if he_will_give to_me Bālāq the_fullness_of his_house_of_his silver and_gold not I_will_be_able to_transgress DOM the_mouth_of YHWH god_of_my for_doing a_small_thing or a_large_thing.
19 And_now remain please in_this_place also you(pl) the_night so_that_I_may_know what will_he_increase YHWH to_speak with_me.
20 And_ god _he_came to Bilˊām night and_he/it_said to_him/it if to_call to/for_yourself(m) they_have_come the_men arise go with_them and_only DOM the_message which I_will_speak to_you DOM_him/it you_will_do.
21 And_ Bilˊām _he/it_rose_up in_morning and_he_saddled DOM donkey_of_his and_he/it_went with the_leaders_of Mōʼāⱱ.
22 And_it_glowed/burnt the_anger god if/because was_going he and_ the_messenger_of _he_stood of_YHWH in_road to_an_adversary to_him/it and_he was_riding on donkey_of_his and_two_of his_servants_of_his with_him/it.
23 And_she/it_saw the_donkey DOM the_messenger_of YHWH standing in_road and_sword_of_his was_drawn in_his/its_hand and_it_turned_aside the_donkey from the_road and_it_went in_the_field and_ Bilˊām _he_struck DOM the_donkey to_turn_it the_road.
24 And_he_stood the_messenger_of YHWH in_the_narrow_way_of the_vineyards a_wall was_from_this and_a_wall was_from_this.
25 And_she/it_saw the_donkey DOM the_messenger_of YHWH and_it_squeezed_itself to the_wall and_it_squeezed DOM the_foot_of Bilˊām to the_wall and_he_repeated to_strike_it.
26 And_ the_messenger_of _he_increased of_YHWH to_pass_on and_he_stood in_a_place narrow where there_was_not a_way to_turn_aside right_hand and_left_hand.
27 And_she/it_saw the_donkey DOM the_messenger_of YHWH and_it_lay_down under Bilˊām and_it_glowed/burnt the_anger of_Bilˊām and_he_struck DOM the_donkey with_stick.
28 And_ YHWH _he_opened DOM the_mouth_of the_donkey and_she/it_said to_Bilˊām what have_I_done to/for_yourself(m) (cmp) you_have_struck_me this three feet.
29 And_ Bilˊām _he/it_said to_donkey if/because you_have_dealt_wantonly with_me if there_was a_sword in_hand_of_my if/because now I_killed_you.
30 And_she/it_said the_donkey to Bilˊām am_not am_I donkey_of_your which you_have_ridden on_me from_your_duration until the_day the_this ever_(have_the_habit) have_I_had_the_habit for_doing to/for_yourself(m) thus and_he/it_said no.
31 And_ YHWH _he_uncovered DOM the_eyes_of Bilˊām and_he/it_saw DOM the_messenger_of YHWH standing in_road and_sword_of_his was_drawn in_his/its_hand and_he_bowed_low and_he_bowed_down to_face_of_his.
32 And_he/it_said to_him/it the_messenger_of YHWH concerning what did_you_strike DOM donkey_of_your_female this three feet HERE I I_came_out to_an_adversary if/because it_is_precipitate the_way to_before_me.
33 And_it_saw_me the_donkey and_it_turned_aside to/for_my_face/front this three feet perhaps it_had_turned_aside from_before_of_me if/because now also you I_killed and_it I_preserved_alive.
34 And_ Bilˊām _he/it_said to the_messenger_of YHWH I_have_sinned if/because not I_knew if/because_that you were_standing to_meet_me in_road and_now if it_is_displeasing in_eyes_of_your I_will_turn_back to/for_me.
35 And_ the_messenger_of _he/it_said of_YHWH to Bilˊām go with the_men and_only DOM the_message which I_will_speak to_you DOM_him/it you_will_speak and_ Bilˊām _he/it_went with the_leaders_of Bālāq.
36 And_ Bālāq _he/it_listened if/because_that Bilˊām he_had_come and_he/it_went_out to_meet_him to the_city_of Mōʼāⱱ which is_on the_border_of ʼArnōn which is_at_the_end_of the_border.
37 And_ Bālāq _he/it_said to Bilˊām not urgently_(send) did_I_send to_you to_call to/for_you(fs) to/for_what not did_you_come to_me really not am_I_able to_honour_you.
38 And_ Bilˊām _he/it_said to Bālāq HERE I_have_come to_you now really_(able) am_I_able to_speak anything the_message which he_will_put god in_mouth_of_my DOM_him/it I_will_speak.
