16 I’m commending our sister Phoebe to you, brothers and sisters—she’s a servant in the assembly at Cenchreae. 2 You can accept her in the master as worthy among godly people, and help her with anything she needs, because she’s been a supporter of many of us, including myself.
3 Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my workmates in Messiah Yeshua,[ref] 4 who risked their lives to save mine. It’s not just me who’s thankful for them, but also all the assemblies of the non-Jews 5 and the assembly that meets in their house.
Greet my dear friend Epenetus, who was one of the first in the province of Asia Minor to follow Messiah. 6 Greet Maria, who worked hard for you, brothers and sisters. 7 Greet Andronicus and our sister Yunia, my fellow citizens and fellow prisoners with me, who are notable among the ambassadors in Messiah who started before me.
8 Greet Ampliatus, my dear friend in the master. 9 Greet Urbanus, our fellow worker in Messiah, and my dear friend Stachys. 10 Greet Apelles, who’s a proven follower of Messiah. Greet those from Aristobulus’s household. 11 Greet Herodion, my fellow citizen. Greet those in Narcissus’s household who are in the master.
12 Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa, those women who are working for the master. Greet my dear friend Persis, another woman who’s worked for the master a lot. 13 Greet Rufus, who’s chosen by the master, and his mother, who also mothered me.[ref] 14 Greet Asugkritos, Flegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the other brothers and sisters with them. 15 Greet Filologos, Yulia, Nereus and his sister, and Olumpas, and all the godly people there with them.
16 Greet each other with a traditional kiss. All the messiah’s assemblies here send their greetings to you, brothers and sisters.
16:17 The ending warnings
17 Brothers and sisters, I urge you to beware of those who are always talking about faults and tempting you with things that are against what you’ve been taught. Turn away from them, 18 because such people are serving their own bellies instead of our master Messiah, and they’re deceiving innocent people with their smooth speech and ‘blessings’. 19 I’m excited because the story of your obedience has travelled far, but I want you believers to remain wise about what’s good, and innocent about evil, 20 then the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet.

24 ◘ 25 There’s someone who, in keeping with my preaching of the good message and the declaration about Yeshua Messiah, is able to strengthen you believers in keeping with the revelation of the mystery that had been kept secret through the ages. 26 But he’s been there in the prophetic scriptures, and now he’s been revealed in keeping with the eternal God’s command, and been made known to all the nations for faithful obedience. 27 Now may the only wise God be honoured through Yeshua Messiah throughout the remaining ages. May it be so.
