Literal Version

67:0 A song thanking God

For the musical director: a praise song to be accompanied by stringed instruments.

67May God be gracious to us and bless us,

and show kindness towards us (Instrumental break.)

2so that those living on earth will know what you’re like.

All the nations will learn about your salvation.

3Let the peoples praise you, God.

≈ Let all the people groups praise you.

4Let the nations be glad and sing happily,

because you’ll judge the peoples with impartiality,

≈ and govern the nations around the world. (Instrumental break.)

5Let the peoples praise you, God.

≈ Let all the people groups praise you.

6The earth has yielded its harvest.

≈ God, our god, has blessed us.

7May God bless us,

and may people all around the world respect him.
